We were listening to Rush in the car in the last hour and he was vehemently denying that he was turning on Trump.
Of course he denied he turned on Trump. Rush didn’t turn on him; he simply was honest about Trump’s behavior. IIRC he commented that he was surprised/shocked at the behavior as well.
And Rush has a right to his opinion. Others don’t see it as a big deal including me. But I don’t have a radio show to do everyday. This is just political discourse.

To late, they have already concluded in their minds that they are going to trow Rush under the bus no matter what Rush says now.
Rush, If I can recall played Cruz’s comments, so did Sean Hannity.

It wasn’t long ago that Trump shot the first shot over Cruz’s bow letting Cruz know that Trump is going to have to go to war and declare war on Cruz if and when Cruz gets close to his territory in the polls, or rises in the polls.
I would say all is fair in love and war.
Ted Cruz knew already what was coming, it was not a cheap shot at Trump by Cruz, Trump already declared war on Cruz, it was fair play.

Rush wore me out with his relentless rant about Trump and allowed in some strange callers who did not like Trump.
End of the work day, tired, turned on Mark Levin, he seemed to be losing his mind over Trump’s remarks, and so I turned him off. Now Trump has the Left, the MSM, RINOs, and Limbaugh and Levin all together slashing at him. Politics does make strange bedfellows, indeed.
I heard Trump use “maniac” on Fox Sunday, it sort of made me chuckle, and I passed it off as his irritation over what Cruz had said about him (his judgment with the “trigger”). I thought their remarks were tit for tat. I doubt that Trump really thinks that Cruz is a maniac and doubt that Cruz thinks Trump can’t handle the “trigger”.
I listened to Levin long enough to say that Trump was pandering over ethanol. Who is Cruz pandering to when he would allow Muslims into the United States who are potential terrorists? What kind of judgment is that, Rush, Mark, to allow potential terrorists onto American soil? Haven’t you two castigated Obama about that? Does pandering over ethanol rise to the level of seriousness of refusing to protect the entire homeland?
Has anyone ever heard Levin and Limbaugh spend their entire programs ranting and raving and attacking a liberal democrat?
