Sometimes what is popular is not always what is right.
“School days!
School days!
Good old Golden Rule days.
Teacher talks like a mad, drunken sailor
His language is quite a failure.”
Thank you for the useful information. Yes, your idea ...
[that states could indepently mandate professors to debate]
... is excellent!
But I still like the idea of a constitutional amendment best — all professors, regardless of each state and financial leverage. National debate over the amendment itself would be healthy.
In the meantime, states show them how it’s done.
And it could sunset and be removed from the Constitution after 75 years of mandatory debate to reduce clutter.
FRegards ....
Should be easy then.
Trump is on the record saying Justice Roberts was disgraceful for his Obamacare decision and that the Justice he admires most is Clarance Thomas. He routinely trashes Hillary Clinton personally and professionally at large well attended voter rallies all over the country.
I'd wager the Clintons have more influence over you than Donald Trump...
But since when has the Liberals and Democrats become ideologically dogmatically concerned about our nation’s safety and Illegal immigration ?
It’s the left and the Democrats who have embraced the anti-America, anti-God, anti-Christan, pro abortion, pro-Islam, anti-Capitalism platform.
I am not a wealthy businessman, or a politician so that does not apply.
Nice try though.
And I'm sure that some fair minded FATatz jerkweed like you will be the the judge and jury of those about to be striped.
Any one with FAT as part of their screen name should be stripped from posting on any fair minded blog.
Piss off mate!
Forget channeling Trump - the professors are proving that having advanced degrees doesn’t equate to the intelligence to pick out the actual meaning of a common sense comment.
Of Trump appointing a liberal Supreme Court Justice ?
“Look at the associations he has known in the past ... would [Trump] appoint either of the Clintons to his cabinet?”
I’m not sure that Sanders would even put Hillary on his cabinet. She’s severely damaged. And politically, they are oil-and-vinegar. I believe he burned his bridges. The DNC will never trust him again.
“Just what influence does the Clintons have over Trump?”
Apparently not much. He represents everything that can defeat a Hillary campaign.
“You don’t think TRUMP won’t appoint either Clinton to his cabinet ?
Even if he were the best of friends with the Clintoons, he’s an experienced executive and knows how to compartmentalize friendship, aquaintance, and working relationships. Trump appoint a clintoon? I really don’t see it.
“Those supporters who might vote for Trump had better think about this really really hard before they vote for Trump.”
I have, actually. I think that when Trump looks at democrats, he thinks of Planned Parenthood and muslim VISAs and Sanctuary Cities.
He thinks of terrorism and that criminal who murdered His research is not exactly a ‘platitude’ or petty exortation.
Even before his muslim immigration ban, he was on-target about the Santuary City Murder....

[Will San Fran consider voting for Trump due to immigration?]
I provided you with contextual statements from Trump about the Supreme court. Maybe if you paid a bit more attention you wouldn’t appear so confused.
"there are those who contend that it does not benefit African Americans to get them into the University of Texas where they do not do well, as opposed to having them go to a less advanced school, a less a "slower track" school where they do well."
Not only is there noting wrong or racist about that quote, it applies equally to anyone of any race. Students should (if they want to succeed) seek the school that best promises success. Someone who got "C's" in algebra and flunked calculus have no business at MIT.
Notice that nowhere contained in that comment (which wasn't even Scalia's) was there suggested a prohibition or barrier against attending a school beyond one's capabilities, but as we've noted elsewhere, leftists are long on emotions and short on rational thought or consideration.
Which would never happen...as we know.
Vulgarity aside, they’re in the same camp as trump!
“And neither could people of any other race, under conditions where their academic scores are significantly lower than the admission requirements for others. That’s why universities have admissions standards in the first place.”
True, but blacks are the main (only?) group that gets admitted with significantly lower scores. It also doesnt help that the other students assume the blacks were admitted by affirmative action and dont legitimately belong there. That would probably negatively impact my performance.
I don’t think Scalia meant all black college students, just the one’s needing affirmative action. If they were smart enough, affirmative action wouldn’t be necessary.
Agreed.
