Watch and see. As soon as Trump gets the nomination most everyone will just be talking about how to beat Hillary.

Trump had nothing to do with Mirkarimi’s loss.

The death of Kate Steinle is what led to that, not Trump.

I want someone who I can trust is who they say they are. Someone who will not learn towards liberal stances at the drop of a hat. I want a conservative, not a charlatan who is the latest flavor of the month.

Trump may be the most authentic of the bunch. We have a Rep controlled Congress after two historic elections in 2010 and 2014. The Reps promised everything conservatives wanted. They not only have not delivered, they have actually given Obama everything he wants. The latest budget put together by Ryan and the GOPe is a disgrace.

I don't trust any of the political class. We have a Uniparty owned by the corporate elites and special interests, who actually write the legislation. The issues raised by Trump re immigration (legal and illegal) and the compatibility of Islam with Western values and culture are huge. None of them would have ever been talked about except for Trump. The RNC and the GOPe are furious with Trump about raising them. The American people feel differently hence the popularity of Trump.

“I repeat my prediction that absent an alien abduction Donald J. Trump is the next President of the United States.”

He’s very brave to confront the Islamics the way he did.

Prayers up!

So I guess the debates are best viewed as a think-on-your-feet-under-pressure test. And as a barometer that there haven’t been any big changes in the candidate’s general direction or major thematic points.

That about sums it up. We really won't learn much else from the debates. The candidates have been on the stump for awhile now. They have their talking points nailed down and just regurgitate them at the drop of a hat.

The only real vulnerability is a slip up or poor judgment. As I mentioned, the no-fly zone in Syria was a test in judgment and temperment. Trump, Cruz, and Paul passed with flying colors.

And yesterday, Kerry after meeting with the Russians said that regime change in Syria was not a priority.

Cruz liner about trump paying for the wall was brilliant. If trump wins, he better be smart enough to have Cruz be his running mate. He’ll pass me off if he doesn’t.

And you think someone who owns hotels, golf courses, and private clubs will not be beholden to those same elites?

What naivety...

How so? Be more specific as to how that will influence his actions as President. He certainly does not need the corporate elites to fund his political campaign. Who will be Trump's puppetmaster?

I escaped before it got like a war-torn nation. It was like an invaded one - bad enough! Nobody here believes it. I should’ve videoed going to walmart. People need to know how bad the invasion can be. TV shows hide it, I notice.

I’m an old Californian too, fifth generation SF Bay Area. I remember SF and Marin back in the Sixties. It had some balance then.

By the Eighties, I’d walk around hearing people laugh about how they hadn’t met an actual Californian all day, it was getting flooded with lefties from everywhere else. That’s when I started to feel like I was living under an occupation force.

The ties that bind Trump are not financial. They are social.

The man wants to be liked. He is a narcissist, public image is number one to him.

It’s why his name is written in huge gold letters on everything he owns. It’s why he talks about himself in such flattery terminology, similar to how Rush talks, but not tougne in cheek... you can tell he means it.

The high society types who are his customers, who he drinks wine with and smokes cigars with, whom he plays rounds of golf with on the weekends, those are his puppeteers... It’s not money, it’s social status, it’s power.

The man is a very dangerous individual to place into the highest power of the land, especially with the record he has.

To ignore the warning signs is foolish.

Ok but explain the danger and what is his record?

A narcissist is a dangerous person to give power to.

As far as record goes, the man has a history of supporting liberals financially and publicly supporting them. He pushes liberal ideology, is fine with terrible property grabbing decisions from the Supreme Court, and even demonstrated last night he does not believe we have an expectation of privacy and we should sacrifice liberty for security.

But record wise, he has no true record as far as supporting conservative ideals. Just rhetoric.

I wonder where the lefties came from?

Nowadays, the lefties come FROM California! Between the liberal schools and government and grown up hippies, kids don’t have a chance.
