Last night, Trump said:
"When you had the World Trade Center go, people were put into planes that were friends, family, girlfriends, and they were put into planes and they were sent back, for the most part, to Saudi Arabia.They knew what was going on. They went home and they wanted to watch their boyfriends on television. I would be very, very firm with families. Frankly, that will make people think because they may not care much about their lives, but they do care, believe it or not, about their families' lives."
I saw Megyn Kelly tell Frank Luntz that the 9/11 Commission Head (I thought she said "head") was reached and denied that this happened, saying, "the hijackers were not married."
The point Trump was making was akin to his seeing celebrations in Jersey City after 9/11. He was saying that friends and family of the hijackers were sent home to the Middle East BEFORE the attack on 9/11 and that those friends and family knew the attacks were coming.
It was at this point that Jeb abruptly jumped in to cut Trump off.
Unless I am mistaken or misreading this comment, this is a major statement and will become big news.
Everyone knows that Bin Laden family members were sent home after the flight suspension ended. But no one, to my knowledge, has ever indicated that there were such flights before.
I don't think Trump would introduce this into a debate unless he had obtained this information from a solid source.
When the question was asked, “Did you REALLY mean to kill women and children and civilians ?” (or similar words) ..
The proper answer is,” Yes! The 3000 people in the World Trade Center buildings were civilians too.
The Bushes let OBL family go to Saudi Arabia after 3,000 Americans died.
I might be radical, but Trump says OBL family knew what he was planning, and that under the law is conspiracy and aiding to kill during the worst attack on American soil in modern times.
Trump’s answer is they can kill us and we can’t kill them.
I have to agree, it needs to be looked at as Trump says as a deterrent, terrorists don’t want their family harmed.
We bombed Japan with nukes, we carpet bombed Dresden, I am sure lots of infants got killed in these densely populated cities that were leveled. The Americans have gotten soft on our enemies compared to my father and uncle’s generation who won WWII.
I think you might be interpreting this wrong, or it's being spun wrong, I think his line of thinking was "by watching on TV" the news about them. Not seeing the act happen. no? But if they can make it tinfoil hat kooky, then they will.
There has always been stories of families shuttled out of the US by govt agents, that's not new.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump has some interesting information about Obama’s dubious background.
That has been a constant fear of mine. I can only hope there is some type of mutual destruction pact and that the information is in multiple safes.

If he ‘drops dead of a heart attack’ they won’t be able to claim he’d been a heart patient for years and years.
As a former NYer, I have been watching Trump since the last 1970’s.
Corruption and outright sloth runs deep in federal employees. We need to fire at least 500,000 of them post haste. I guarantee no citizen will be adversely affected by it, and they would likely benefit from it.

No, the U.S. Government didn't evacuate them, the Saudi Government evacuated them, and the U.S. Government let them go.
You have to remember that for a decade prior to 9/11, the U.S. was enforcing the Northern and Southern no fly zones over Iraq by using air bases in Saudi Arabia. The U.S. Government has very close ties to the Saudi Royals.

Then you were watching him a few years ago when Trump said that the private investigators he'd sent to Hawaii to look into Obama's birth certificate and that what they were uncovering was "absolutely unbelievable". What ever happened with that? Could it be that he used the same crack team of investigators to come up with his claims abut hijacker wives fleeing the country pre-9/11?

Saudis were allowed to fly their private jets out of the country. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis. Saudi pays for radical Islamic (redundant) schools and Mosques around the globe. They are the leading exporter of the ideology behind terror.
If we are in a ‘war’ and I happen to think that we are, then going after the families is a good thing.
The jihadists/terrorists do not differentiate between ‘military’ and ‘civilian’, nor should we. They want to kill ALL of us. San Bernadino is a perfect example. In a war everyone associated with the enemy should be considered to be ‘fair game’. As G. W. Bush said, “You are either with us or against us”. The families of the jihadist/terrorists are definitely against us.
