They pulled millions of used cars out of the market so the prices on the remaining supply went up.

The same thing would happen with this addle-brained scheme.

Gun sales will go up and prices will go up too.

The feds will be setting a new benchmark value at 125% of the old value.

Every time the government injects money into a program prices go up.

It happened with Cash For Clunkers, it happened with Medicare and Obamacare, and it happened with easy money for college loans.

1. They can't buy them "back" because they didn't sell them in the first place

• I have never seen a gun "on the streets" I look every day for a gun on the streets so that I could take it and give it a good home, but in my 70+ years I've never seen one
• This doesn't keep guns "out of the hands of criminals, etc." because the only people who will fall for this nonsense are the ones who think they have no need for firearms

  These things are media theater and a waste of taxpayer money.
