The mind-blowing turnaround in Donald Trump's poll numbersexplains why he's blowing everyone out of

Perceptions of his favorability, electability, and strategy on key areas have all improved over the past six months. In many of these cases, he has seen dramatic turnarounds with the GOP electorate.

Here's a look at the shifts: Favorability:

In a July CNN poll, just 51% of Republicans viewed Trump favorably, compared with 40% who saw him in an unfavorable light. In December, 72% of registered Republicans say they view Trump favorably. That contrasts with just 27% who view him unfavorably.

Electability:

In August, just 38% of Republicans thought that they would have a "better chance" of winning the presidency in 2016 if Trump was the nominee. Fifty-eight percent said that the party would have a better chance with someone else. In December, 46% of Republicans now see a "better chance" of winning the presidency with Trump as the nominee. That number has climbed to an almost even split with the 50% of GOP voters who think someone else would give them a better chance.

“Trump has many of the skills of an accomplished stand-up comic.

He had a dear friend that may have helped him in these matters.”

Oh, yes, you’re right... I miss Joan Rivers. She would have loved to see this.

And yes, Tangled... let the Donald bring it. I cannot wait to see him win. People here will be absolutely apopleptic. In fact, people around the world will feel that way.

I posted a couple of weeks ago that the last time so many people around the world hated an American president with so much viciousness, it was when Ronald Reagan was president. I was in Germany when RR was president, and people were absolutely petrified of him; hated him with a fierce passion.

And that’s because RR did put America first... just like Donald Trump does.

I'm predicting that the media will try to elect Hillary the same way they did with Bob Casey, Jr. here in Pennsylvania.

  1. Scripted events only with prescreened audiences of media and sycophants only. But I repeat myself.
  2. Endlessly play off the famous name.
  3. Endlessly attack the opponent.
  4. Insofar as possible, limit her only words to "I'm Hillary Clinton and I approved this message."

>>Not a “Mind-Blowing Turnaround”. Always been there, just not reported. Fin.

It’s mind-blowing to the people who have stood there with hands over their eyes, chanting “this can’t be happening, this isn’t real”.

I wouldn’t worry about that. His support IS much higher but the MSM wants him out at any cost so they cast that in a negative light.

He’s a freight train barreling down the track at record speed.

The decisive moment of this surge began at the Pier 14 shooting ...

Donald Trump Pledges To Secure Our Border Following San Francisco Pier 14 Fatal Shooting

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3307576/posts

[It was within hours - Trump took his rage, channeled it, and projected it into anyone who was willing to take it to heart.]

After that, the Paris Attack and San Bernadino.

Conclusion: time is on the side of truth and common sense. Choose truth, choose common sense, and your efforts are amplified.

Also: Career republicans fear being accused of politicizing a tragedy. Trump was not burdened by that mindset — instead he ‘waved the bloody flag’. Politics 101.

If you are in synch with voters, you SHOULD wave the bloody flag.

It helps to have a back-street brawler go after Hillary.

Even most gutter whores are morally superior to Mrs. Rodham [Clinton]. Hillary is NO LADY — she KNEW that little children were going to see that defiled Christmas tree. It just made her laugh:

That was a Kasich campaign guy who made the headshot “remark, wasn’t it?”

Pat Brady, the co-chair of John Kasich’s campaign made the remark that the only way Trump could be beaten was with a head shot.

GOP consultant Rick Wilson said that the Republican Establishment has to “put a bullet in Trump’s head” in an interview on MSNBC.

It’s pretty clear that the establishment is all out of options except that one and they’re hoping some whack job does it for them. These two men should both be in jail for threats against a Presidential Candidate.

I’m really afraid for Trump. There’s just too much riding on his not making it for a lot of people.

I think the guy that said it worked for Kasich.

But close enough to a Dem. :)

Still wondering if he can debate Hillary point for point and not just espouse generalities. Personally, I think he would look like a bully if he maintains his signature style.

But then what do I know? Maybe he'll make Hillary look like the liar, spinner, parser, exaggerator that she is. Now that, I would pay front seat tickets to see him call her on her lies, as long as he has back up citations. You can't just say, "You lie" without having the proof. Trump better be well prepared on every issue because he would be going against a professional politician that can massage every question.

I didn't think the gopE was that stupid, but... A poli-sci major, no doubt. Only Education majors and Journalism majors are lower on the evolutionary curve.

Poli-sci has a certain casual attitude toward political conviction. For them, it's the exercise of power. As long as they have a population to oppress, the reasons why are immaterial.

If I were king, I'd give them all shovels and point to where I wanted a ditch. They would then be of benefit to civilization.

The GOPe wing of the UniParty can either get behind Trump or suffer the way of the Whigs by being fullly absorbed into the evil Left.
I think most of em would prefer to convert to Islam and be absorbed by the Left.

That’s the thing, the popular establishment of many years so favored by primary voters doesn’t mind losing to a Democrat; most are closet Democrats anyway.
