Christmas, as everyone knows, commemorates the birth of Jesus and is a major religious celebration for Christians around the world.

But what many people don't know is that Jesus is an important figure in Islam, too, even though most Muslims don't celebrate Christmas (though some of us, especially American Muslims, do).

In honor of the holiday, here are six things you may not know about the role of Jesus -- and his mother, Mary -- in Islam: ...

Since you had “All” in your “to” post, I reply to say it’s a very good & accurate historical chronology/summary in that youtube vid link. I appreciate it is about the “Crusades” there.

But that YouTube vid does not explain, in any depth, how Islam, as a religion, came about, ie Islam’s inception.

Reason I mention the above is because many if not most Muslims, Islamics or Islamists included, try to harmonize differences between Islam, Judaism and Christianity, based on ORIGINAL common grounds or teachings, tenets, practices or religious laws.

Those common grounds go back to Islam capitalizing on aforementioned Abrahamic religions, among other ones, since Islam is the last in chronological order of significant worldwide religions with adherents second only to Christianity at present.

Jesus is the Son Of God, not just a prophet, and the Muslim Jesus will come. Christ warned us of him. If he is in the desert, don't go to him. The Muslim Jesus will probably perform miracles, deceiving many, but his days will be numbered, and there will be no mistaking who the real Jesus is. He won't be pleased at the treatment his people, Christians, or the people of the promised land, Jews, have received at the hands of Muslims. On that day the Islamic religion will cease to exist. 1. Was not the Divine Son of God the Father

2. Was not the prophesied sinless Savior of Is. 53

3. Did not die to pay the price for the forgiveness of sins

4. Did not bodily rise from the grave in confirmation of His mission.

5. Did not promise salvation and the Holy Spirit to those who believe on Him.

6. Did not teach religious non-violence and reject bloody jihad since His kingdom was not of this world.

Christ is the second person of the Holy Trinity.

Anything less means nothing.
