Preventing SHTF through civil disobedience with guns. "To arms! The enemy is coming!" When a force that is planing an invasion hears these words shouted from the watchtowers, they know they've been found out and are forced to retreat and change plans. This is the power of words as weapons. "I know what you're doing" puts doubt in the wrongdoer and takes away their advantage.
Is there any doubt the leftist administration wants SHTF? Is there any doubt who the real insurgents are in this country? It has become painfully obvious that this administration's agenda is the disarmament and invasion of America. Calling our law "fundamentally flawed" and a "living constitution" are declarations of war. They say we aren't allowed to say certain things. They say we shouldn't be allowed to carry weapons. Civil disobedience stops abusive powers in their tracks when an unmanageable number of people do the exact opposite of what the man says, and a lot of it.
Self defense is your responsibility and right. Keep buying guns and ammo. Start asking your neighbors if they would like to come to the shooting range with you. Start talking with them about civilian alert and surveillance systems you can put in place to come to each other's aid and upload any confrontations to the internet to be viewed by the public. Organize openly online and over the phone. The managers will see and fear.
Most preppers have based their plans on the belief that in a crisis it will be every man for himself. In light of the history of this nation this is unprecedented and irrational. It has never been that way in America. No, you can not count on your government or relief organizations to rescue you. But in all your prepping you must look to strengthen your numbers.

Stand alone and small prepper groups will be outnumbered and easily annihilated by the administration. You've accepted the responsibility to prepare individually for yourself and your family. Now would you consider taking responsibility to prepare your neighborhood as well? We are not in a full blown outbreak now and we do not have to go there. We can prevent SHTF from happening by organizing openly using words, pictures and videos as weapons. The trackable chatter will cause the administration to rethink what they're doing. Simultaneously we will have become ready for the worst.

Commit to visit your firing range once a month. Take pictures and videos and post results here on the first of each month as a form of civil disobedience. Use this thread to network and coordinate target practice with other FReepers through private email. If you want your photos scrubbed or photoshopped to prevent tracking, email them to me and I will print screen copy them and delete the originals. RULES:
- Do not publish personal information such as last names, email addresses, phone numbers, license plates, home addresses, etc. Use private email to arrange meetings with other members. Posting first name and general location is acceptable.
- This is not a jokes board. You will not be censored, but please be aware there is a world wide misperception that American gun owners are all drunk, reckless and violent. Disprove this stereotype by contributing to this monthly thread with all seriousness and sobriety. Do not horseplay with guns.
- Do not use targets that could be perceived by viewers as a threat to a living person or group.
- One month recent photo only. Please try to date stamp for the record.
- Selfies are good. Larger group photos are better and send a stronger message.
- If you want to keep your identity or specific weapon make unknown, then only photograph your target results noting distance and general weapon type - rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, sling shot, etc.
- Guns are for defense only. Civilians do not take law into their own hands. A deadly weapon may only be used to prevent the loss of life, property or for the purposes of target practice or hunting.
FReeper Display of Arms and Bearers is not an insurrection. We are not rebels for demanding law and order. This is a movement of lawful citizens reclaiming the peace of mind provided by the natural law of self defense further guaranteed by the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States. We are putting a stop to the left's insurrection and culture of lawlessness by exercising our rights to freely speak, bear arms and peacefully organize.
Good news - The firing range in my area has been so busy I haven't been able to reserve any lanes during the last two holidays. Isn't that awesome? People are doing it. I will get in there and upload pictures on this thread as soon as possible. I want to zero in my scope and laser sights.

If I ever start training in firearms, when my groupings get tight and on-target, I will start pinning the used targets on my front door to deter criminals and, hopefully, rogue cops.

Deterrence by visual display, that's the idea. Training in firearms is not that huge an undertaking. Just one hour visits per month is enough to get started. And you could pin the used targets here at FR for visual deterrence purposes.
Please don't post material that conveys ineptitude to the viewing public. That is fuel for gun haters and confiscators.
