You and I can agree. Unfortunately the Wiscpnsin state legislature said otherwise and that was what the court was deciding.

BB guns "diesel". Notice the smoke...

There's some YouTube vids showing guys putting a drop of oil in the base of a .22 pellet, which diesels on firing and gives a couple of hundred fps to the slug. This is with break-action or pump up air guns. Gotta play hell with the gaskets.

The law says firearms...change the law if needed.

No fire, no firearm.

Oh, but the statute defined firearm to include bb guns. The court was only carrying out the letter of the law. The court would be failing in its duty if it did otherwise.

In EXACTLY the same way an escaped slave must be returned to the rightful owner, even if he is captured in a state that does not allow slavery. The court was only carrying out the letter of the law. The court would be failing in its duty if it did otherwise.

Peter Billingsley (Ralphie) is now 44 years old and still has not shot his eye out. (Just sayin’)

Better stock up on pellets, the feds will probably start buying em all up to keep you from shooting your eye out.

Lead pellets? Nope. Not any more.

What about bow and arrows? The cross bow is in danger of being reclassified with those idiots making up the rules.

After Wyoming ceased to require any sort of license for either concealed or open carry of firearms in 2011, homicides with crossbows and bow and arrows were reclassified as *shootings* to keep the *deadly handgun shooting murder* statistics up.

And indeed, in 2012 at the Casper, Wyo Community junior college, a really disturbed young man did indeed murder his instructor father using a compound bow. In a gun-free zone where his father was unable to legally carry a weapon with which to protect himself, and after his murdering son had also killed his girlfriend with a knife. Good thing there weren't any guns on that campus; someone might have been hurt.

Just another attempt to make criminals out of non criminals and another step into slavery. It is not the criminal that they are after, it is the law abiding citizen. When will it stop? When the law abiding citizens are either waiting in the line to take a shower or the line to be fitted with a steel slave collar. When will the law abiding Citizens resist? The second Sunday of next Week they may meet to consider their options. When they do, the judas goats in their midst will inform them that if they resist, they will be just like “them”. They will answer, “That’s right” and forget about resisting. If the people here today had been living here in the 1770’s the King of England would have had no worries. After facing reality, getting rid of the foolish notion that most of the people living in the United States wand to be free and are willing to make the sacrifices needed to stay free, the above is what I came up with. Your mileage may vary.

Minnesota defines a pistol as:

Minn. Stat. 624.712:

Subd. 2.Pistol. “Pistol” includes a weapon designed to be fired by the use of a single hand and with an overall length less than 26 inches, or having a barrel or barrels of a length less than 18 inches in the case of a shotgun or having a barrel of a length less than 16 inches in the case of a rifle (1) from which may be fired or ejected one or more solid projectiles by means of a cartridge or shell or by the action of an explosive or the igniting of flammable or explosive substances; or (2) for which the propelling force is a spring, elastic band, carbon dioxide, air or other gas, or vapor.

“Pistol” does not include a device firing or ejecting a shot measuring .18 of an inch, or less, in diameter and commonly known as a “BB gun,” a scuba gun, a stud gun or nail gun used in the construction industry or children’s pop guns or toys.
