I certainly agree that Hillary and here media accomplices will attempt to make this an issue in the campaign if Cruz is on either the top or bottom of the ticket. But I think Ted is more than capable of exposing such shameful attempts for what they are with far more aplomb and devastating effect than Romney did with similar “concerns” about his Mormon beliefs.

Perhaps the poster doesn’t recognize this scripture that some ordinary Christians invoke daily for ourselves and our loved ones.

Did Trump hand out gifts to illegal alien “Dreamers” and invite them to pick any items they wanted in the gift shop at Trump Tower?

In 2013, though, he was in entertainer mode even as the meeting concluded, cracking jokes with the group about how they needed better ties — and walked them downstairs straight to his gift shop.

Trump declared that they could have whatever they wanted for free.

He gave away a watch, and his daughter's book. He gave away chocolate. Pacheco scored a perfume; the guys got a bunch of Donald Trump ties.

“Everything said ‘Made in China,’” Pacheco said.

Unreal that this author isn't zotted yet.

Back in the day on Free Republic the mods would be on articles such as, this one that would be posted from places such as, Lewd Rockwell and pull them from the forums and give the poster a warning. Not too long ago the mods of this site posted a thread about how we shouldn't vote for a flip flopping liberal named Mitt Romney.

Today it is acceptable to support someone who is to the left of Mitt Romney and openly helped enemies of freedom such as the Clintons and amongst other liberal things advocated for a Dem congressional majority in 2006. It boggles the mind how things have changed here. Three years ago if I would have posted the photo you see below people would get their conservative credentials seriously questioned for supporting it, today we celebrate it.

Why do you put Joel Osteen into that group?

I’ve read his posts. It’s actually a perfect moniker for his content.

“I am and the description fits pretty well.”

If it were me, I would find another church. However, one of the largest Baptist church in this area evidently has a homeless man as pastor, judging from the way he dresses.

Since you brought it up, you might wonder why fundraisers take 3 months now with you here.

Given the that most Trump supporters are neither Christian nor conservative, but instead insist on posting wacky, far out bizarre crazy articles from bottom feeding far left sites, one most wonder exactly what they are doing on a conservative site in the first place. Oh wait, they are here to troll the only true conservative in the race Ted Cruz.

The last time the media used religion was against Romney.

After years of hearing the same thing, I bought one of his books. I think it was his 5,000 Year Leap, but I'm not positive.

Barton did not write the 5,000 Year Leap.

It is. We got one of the leaders last night. I actually feel bad for legit Trump supporters. They have some real winners in their midst doing him some damage. Not that it will matter ultimately.

But what they are really damaging is conservatism. And that’s their goal.

Are you implying something? I doubt seriously that Trump supporters as a percentage of posters or contributors provide more financial aid than regular Conservative posters and contributors. Why make this threat?

Did Trump support of Kelo, Single payer health care, Ethanol subsidies, Planned Parenthood, confiscatory taxes on the rich, opposition of Medicare/Social Security reform and Did Trump on multiple documented occasions donate to Democrat campaigns/causes over the years.

...also did Trump praise Romney for his gentle approach to illegal immigrants and badmouth Republicans for being mean spirited in their approach to illegal immigration a scant 3 years ago?

Well, did he?

“It was clearly written by someone very confused by Christian personalities, and most likely deeply antagonistic toward the religious right.”

As someone that is as far from the religious right as you can get and also a Cruz supporter, I would have to say it was written by someone that has been schooled in Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.

Probably not a real Trumpster but a Clintonite in Trump drag.

Your the one that saying Jim should lose money on this site...I didn’t say it, I just asked you if your going to make up the difference when and if Trump supporters leave....

Still waiting for that question to be asked...

When I joined this site in 2005, and went thru some national elections, we had our problems but none like we are seeing from the Cruz supporters, so if you think that you can support this site, let us Trump supporters know...also might be good to ask Jim this question before you make a blanket statement like that...

There wasn’t much about his Mormonism as I remember.
Here, an attack on Cruz’s associations would tie in with their ‘far-right, fringe’ narrative too.
Many still thought Obama’s Rev Wright association was significant, despite the media counter-attack against the idea.

So, yes, Cruz has great ability but it’s intelligent to consider what a problem this ‘may’ be for him.
The media is neither fair nor responsible.
