So Sad: Jeb Bush Has Been Reduced To Bragging About Being On Every Ballot
Mediaite ^ | 1/2/16 | Tommy Christopher

Former Florida Governor, Republican presidential candidate, and World's First Human Sad Trombone Jeb Bush has been having more and more difficulty convincing anyone he will ever be president, least of all himself, but things got sad even by Jeb's standards Sunday morning. Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace tried to get Jeb to feel the fork by gently reminding him that there are these things called polls, and they measure how much or how little people care about what you have to say. Jeb sounded a pathetically "optimistic" note:

Wallace: Did you fail to come up with a compelling message for voters? I understand you want to talk about the future, but the past does give some indication as to what went wrong and what you need to improve.

Least it shows some organization but as GOPES go really no surprize there. The trick is wining districts with pledged delegates. Particularly in states where delegates are elected.

Either the Bush machine has something up its sleeve or Bush is delusional a serious defect for a politician with national aspirations. I am not politically sophisticated so I can't tell which is correct.

Wallace: Did you fail to come up with a compelling message for voters? (snip)
some indication as to what went wrong and what you need to improve.

Bush: Chris, I respect your world. Your world is all about process. My world
is about connecting with voters in these early states to build momentum.

Bush is so out of touch that he doesn't realize that the point Wallace was making
is that Bush IS NOT CONNECTING!

I hope JEB stays in. We need everyone of those GOPe’s in the race to keep splitting the GOPe vote.

Certainly possible. I would like to see Burnie beat Herself. It would be a nice cap to her political career.

With the exception of #3 (terrorist attack before Iowa caucus), I see events playing out as you describe. I believe that Bernie will make Iowa very close if not outright win it. Then I think Bernie is going to absolutely crush Shrillary in New Hampshire. She and her campaign will be reeling and trying to pick up the pieces.

Meanwhile, Trump will win big in the primaries and will start moving his rallies to football stadiums as the weather gets warmer. When the establishment Republicans realize they are not going to beat him, they will embrace him as the GOP nominee and there will be no serious 3rd party challenge - on the Republican side.

He’s going to lose 50 times from a position of strength.

Several weeks ago, Kasich was complaining to an interviewer that his low poll numbers were because people didn’t know who he was. That was AFTER 4 NATIONAL debates. Well, John, even after the 5th debate, they either still don’t know who you are or they just do not care that you are running.

****************************************************

Kasich needs to get the message out more that his father was a mail man.

He is banking on being appointed. Don’t doubt that the still extensive Bush machine is working towards that with a sabotaged convention. He will not bow out. Peewee Priebus and Co. still have to cast their magic. Only if and when that fails will he bow out.

Yeb’s revised 2016 strategy:
1) raise lots of money
2) stay under the radar by showing in 5 or 6th place in the polls
3) file to be on every state ballot when nobody is watching you
4) hope every other candidate forgets to get on every ballot
5) win nomination when every other candidate drops out upon realizing they can’t win without votes
6) blame the process when you lose the general election because 50% of Republican and independent voters don’t bother to show up to vote

Jeb had to make a case that somehow he was going to be better, consistently more conservative than Bush 1 & 2.

He’s failed miserably.

Read my lips: No more Bush!
