I’d presume, just like the vaunted ‘economists’, our military ‘experts’ were JUST as *stunned* too.
Career minded military (aka politicians), more worried about gays, women, lowering expectations, dumb-F* ROE, etc. than what the ENEMY is capable of doing, learning and growing.
I pray they are just as ‘stunned’ when those NEW bombs go off when the goat humpers finally get one into the beltway, Pentagon, etc.
The Left will get us killed
What about Planet X, the two tailed comet and ChemTrails?
Thermal battery with molten salt electrolyte.
Probably the ‘initiator’ to melt the electrolyte for battery operation is the real issue. The difficulties are much like producing a modern ammunition primer just as reliable and non-corrosive from scratch in a garage. For operation ‘all’ the cells must be heated quickly without destroying the battery components from too much heat.
The whole point of the ‘frozen electrolyte’ is battery shelf life without deterioration. Just ‘judiciously’ apply heat to activate.

And? You were replying to something in Post 11 regarding the usability of the missiles?
Exactly. Any jihad university should be a target.
Nuke ‘til they glow worked fine for Hiroshima. It begins to grow more atractive for DAESH. On the other hand, we’re civilized, so we don’t do that sort of thing. Not cricket, etc.
The missile that they are connecting a battery to in the video is an air-to-air missile. This is a Russian copy of the AIM-9 Sidewinder known as the AA-2 Atoll (K-13). Plenty of these missiles were captured when they overran Syrian air force bases and storage depots. It looks likely that they may attempt to field these converted air-to-air missiles as surface to air missiles?
The US used to have a SAM system based on the Sidewinder.

You can see captured AA-2 Atoll air-to-air missiles at 3:08 in the following ISIS video.

Placemark.
“The origin of that expertise is probably ME contract workers who learned the fundamentals in the US while here on an H1-B Visa.”
Or on a student visa.
We should be so fortunate
