Have Congress clear this up like they cleared up Juan McCain’s eligibility in 2008.

Do you really think that McConnell would do that? Really???

Wake up call of the "back stabbery" ability of Trump. FUDT.

Alienate us Cruz supporters at your peril.

"Trump Tells Cruz to Take Citizen Issue to Court..."

.... Like it or not .... the MSM (Main Steam Media) will guarantee that this "Birther" stuff will become one of the main pressing issues facing this country, the World and the entire Universe if Cruz becomes the nominee to divert attention away from the real genuine issues that would make the Democrat nominee look weak.

..... I can hear it now as the Democrat candidate, probably Hillary, chides ...... "Well .... unlike the Republicans ..... we Democrats have a REAL American .... BORN in America .... Made in the USA ....... running for the highest office in America!!!"

..... And yes ..... this country has become that shallow. The current President secured the Presidency by running around chanting the words "CHANGE"and "YES WE CAN!"

“Only someone like Trump would offer a former solicitor general, who has argued before SCOTUS multiple times, legal advice.

It makes as much sense as Cruz advising Trump how to stay out of bankruptcy. “

Well then you know what? Cruz should do NOTHING on this.

Let it sit. Wave around how he augured cases before SCOTUS, and that will make it settled?

Hate to break it to some of you, but if he does not clear this up NOW, and he happens to be the nominee, the Democrats will take it to court. Will get a friendly judge, and Cruz will be fighting this in courts in October, or be off the ballot.

Sorry if this pisses off Cruz people, but this is not some thing to just kiss off and act like no one will use it on the Democrat side the first chance they get.

Especially as much as people on our side routinely say Obama is really a Kenyan national. You think the Democrats aren’t going to?

One of the questions is, ‘Do other countries’ laws affect who is considered a citizen of the US?’

What about divided loyalties? Michele Bachmann became a Swiss citizen (by Swiss law) when she married a Swiss national. Does she have divided loyalties?

Or how about Trump’s Slovenian wife? Does it arouse suspicions of his loyalty?

I got rich suing myself- then lost it all in one final lawsuit against myself

Sorry, to hear that. You should have convinced yourself not to file that appeal against yourself.

It’s understandable considering how litigious we have become as a society.

I know Ted. Nice guy, but he’s terrible.

I met him during his senatorial campaign, and actually helped him in my location. What you said is absolutely incorrect.

MAKING AMERICA GREAT.......

America doesn't need slogans. It needs to be returned to a constitutional state, and that is Ted's intent and drive.

Good point - we would need to know whether we recognize a foreign country’s law making someone a citizen of their country as part of the analysis.

“Go to court now & seek Declaratory Judgment—you will win!”

See Donald’s trying to help. Why doesn’t Ted take his advise? Looks like he’s hiding something.

Another route would be to hire some “muscle” to convince yourself that an appeal was not in your best interest. Then you could sue for tampering!

Chicago style...knowhatimean?

Cruz can’t sue himself. Federal courts are prohibited from issuing advisory opinions.

My personal opinion should be that WE the PEOPLE should take this to the Supreme Court and get a ruling on ‘natural born citizen’ and make it not only for the President, that leads the Country; the Vice President, that takes over if the President can't; the Speaker of the House, if the President or Vice President can't, and the Supreme Court Judges....

That is the linage of our Government and should be written for these particle people to be ‘natural born citizens’ to be able to clear this...

If there was any questions on anyone’s birther, it should be cleared up immediately...

Obuma sat a very dangerous precedent here, and one I don't agree with, so it should be cleared and adhered to...

I'm not saying this because it is Cruz, Rubio or Jindal, it should be for all of the above because they will eventually, God forbid, lead our Country...

I hope Cruz explains to Trump during the debate that federal courts can’t issue advisory opinions.

If I were Cruz I wouldn’t listen to anything that Trump tells him to do, this is just a political “trap” that Cruz is smart enough to avoid.
