Trump is essentially creating a new third party within the Republican Party.

Yep. He’s turning it into a populist party.

The middle class working party.

versus the elite, entitlement, and poverty uniparty

17 Nov 2015

On Tuesday, in an unwitting and probably grudging admission that Donald Trump’s power is not going to erode any time soon, Politico published an article acknowledging that efforts by Katon Dawson, the former chairman of the South Carolina GOP, to form a super PAC for the express purpose of derailing Trump have found no donors willing to commit.

Dawson acknowledged, “I specifically did not find the right donor to get me to go to that effort.”

Agreed. Perhaps if they had not been so protected, but allowed to grow up in the “real world” they would have developed at least some form of survival skills instead of depending on the government to be their “parent” from cradle to grave. So many times I note how difficult it is to get through to some people even in plain, ordinary language. they simply cannot grasp the inferences of anything outside of their basic ingrained “training.”

Dr. Spock being read to congress is an indication. Why not a history book, something from our past as a nation which woefully, far too many “legislators’ are ignorant of? Such stupidity in full view is one of the reasons I turned away from the senator in question.

Every time I hear “Well, they know more about it than I do,” as an excuse for refusing to learn something, I cringe. They openly admit they are unwilling to even try to question or think for themselves.

Look at the bright side. Such as it is...

When the consequence of their actions comes back to bite them in the SHTF world they created, they will be removed from the gene pool. This is as nature intended. They are unfit, self selected for extinction and so the world emerges better for their loss.

TLDR: Law of the jungle, baby..

If George W. Bush engages, it will matter for his brother Jeb Bush

And so it was planned he'd command F Troop.

Except historically I just HATE that term “populist.” They were 19th century quasi socialists who wanted rampant inflation, government ownership of businesses, and isolationism.

I, too, was raised on the same definition as you, but now it has become more like “average people”.

So, maybe I should just say “The average Joe’s party.”

Illustrating how losers just can’t win for losing.

Yeah, sorry, it’s just the historian coming out in me. Like using “Nazis” to describe pre-1900s German leaders. Just silly.

GOP-E is down to using Cruz to take down Trump...followed by taking down Cruz, who will be much easier to destroy than Trump.

Wanna invent a new term together?

Populationists? Egalitarians? Civilianists?

Those guys do it for a living, so they know their stuff. They live and die by them. I sure don’t grasp their angle on it.

I appreciate the mention.

The GOPe has picked a REALLY bad state to be the one to try and firewall Trump, in fact, I’m not sure the GOPe could have picked a worse state for their cause. South Carolinians are Trump’s kind of people and Trump is their kind of guy.
