PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — During a police press conference Friday afternoon, Mayor Jim Kenney stated that he believes the shooting of a Philadelphia police officer has “nothing to do with being a Muslim,†despite the suspect claiming he did it in the name of Islam.

The officer was working in his car when attacked so clearly this is just another garden variety case of workplace violence!

Ambushing a LEO would certainly build up a rapper’s street cred — but the guy himself says it was for Mohammed.
He’s obviously injecting himself into the investigation, in effect telling the Police Dept. that the charges will not include domestic terrorism. Clearly trying to ingratiate himself with the Grand Mufti in the White House, and knowing that the sincerest form of flattery is imitation, he’s going for it all.
James Clarke, Philadelphia police homicide captain, told CNN the suspect said to investigators: "I follow Allah. I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic State and that's why I did what a did."
