The GOPe and other haters will try all kinds of schemes to oust Trump and degrade his supporters, but Trump has a plan - a strategy - to overcome them!
Go Trump!

Notice how the Chamber folks and their allies have stopped talking about a “brokered convention”?
Perhaps they realized that those making the decisions at the convention would be Trump, Cruz, Carson, and maybe Rubio.
The establishment won't even have a seat at the table.
Therefore the sudden silence concerning their beloved brokered convention.
A warm glowing feeling writing that have I.

It is amazing how the anti-Trump whiners are saying the same type of things that were said about Ronald Reagan in 1980.

I suggest he use the word FIX. WE are going to FIX what the political establishment has broken in our country.

“Notice how the Chamber folks and their allies have stopped talking about a âbrokered conventionâ?”
Yep. I have heard nothing about it lately.

It is amazing how the anti-Trump whiners are saying the same type of things that were said about Ronald Reagan in 1980.
And amazingly enough, there is a contingent of them right here on FR.
Sir Winston Churchill talked of "blood, sweat and tears", the Trump-haters around here have nothing but "sneers, jeers and tears".

I found the “brokered convention” was the most stupid of all GOPe ideas: really? A bunch of slugs who make a living off of image manipulation wants to go into negotiations with a guy who wrote “The Art of the Deal”?

I have no tears when Trump wins.
But, for what it's worth I have been called a "liar" by a Cruzer here merely because I support Trump. Does that one fit you "sneers" or "jeers" category?

Inaccurate comparison. Frankly, either Trump or Cruz winning the nomination is fine with me.
However, Trump is not Reagan.
Trump is a populist - like Rick Perry but with actual marketing skills.
Reagan was a conservative - a conservative Democrat and then a conservative Republican. He was conservative before it was cool to become one. For example, his Goldwater speech in 1964.
If Trump ran in 2008 after the "compassionate conservative" debacle of Bush 43, there's little doubt Trump would have out hope and changed Obama as a Democrat candidate.
That doesn't make Trump a bad person. Just recognize that Cruz (like Reagan) is conservative. Trump is a populist who has adopted conservative positions in order to win the presidency and may well govern that way too. Should the winds change in public opinion during a Trump presidency, expect Trump to change with them.

It was another in a long list of failed plans to derail the Trump express.
All it did was damage the establishment candidates even further.
This convention will be almost GOPe free as far as influence.
And they are having kittens...kittens I say!

Might have to work on a separate category for that, lol
The most ironic phenomena that I have observed is that some (not all but some) supporters of Ted Cruz have sought to view and to subsequently portray his campaign not unlike that of a traveling evangelistic revival-road show. I've addressed this in other posts, and while I am as enthusiastic about Cruz' obvious Christian principles and commitments to his faith as anybody, Cruz has to know that such talk is NOT going to win him any support in the secular portion of our society. He will be labeled a homophobic Bible-thumper (based on his past opposition to gay marriage), a moralistic Old Testament type and with the 'RATs willing media lackeys, that narrative can get traction very quickly.
Ted Cruz is a smart man, a brilliant man. However he certainly must realize that unless he is able to appeal across the political spectrum and gain what used to be called 'Reagan Democrats' in addition to secular, non-religious oriented voters, he is facing a total uphill battle in the general.

I admit it can get heated at times.
Let’s all just remember, in a short while (maybe less than a month) this race may start to become settled.
At that point it will be very important for both sides to begin to reconcile and start to work together, against the democrat.
