Well put. It is sad that the charlatan has fooled so many.

Political promises can easily fool a fool.

These guys just endorsed Cruz and have a video out now doing just that...I'm not worried at all about Cruz....his list of endorsements by key people to caucus for him is astounding..additionally his ground operation is outstanding as many have attested to....Trump is simply the magic glitter dust being tossed about....once the winds change, and you can be certain they will... it'll be blown away.

Trumps like the school yard bully who attracts a crowd during recess,..but once the bell rings it's time to get back into the classroom and focus on what you're there for. Same as this race now unfolds in Iowa and elsewhere as people know the voting will soon begin.

Three percent of Planned Parenthood pertains to abortion. The other 9% is cancer screening, pregnancy care, family planning and the like. Businessmen often donate to both major parties.

PP is in the baby killing business. It deserves no donation from any businessman. It deserves no excuses on its behalf.

PP does not do some good things. Its corrupt. Its evil.

Exactly!

.....Planned Parenthood needs to be closed down entirely...it’s long past being anything more than a clinical butcher shop of the unborn children....anything else they do is a front to justify to a dumped down populace for their existence.

I’m kinda stunned to see trump supporters defending the PP trump support. To say it do some good things is like saying Stalin did some good things. Both are muderous despots

...."I’m kinda stunned to see trump supporters defending the PP trump support".....

That's what happens with Personality cults.......they never see it coming when deception has taken hold.....or what it will do to their thinking. Trumps talking points are clearly Liberal and followed the talking points of the Demorats....won't be the first time either that he's done so,......unfortunately his supporters are so caught up in his personality they aren't really listening to what he's saying...and moreso revealing.

Trump is certainly imperfect. But by waiting for the perfect candidate, we’re not leading.

“You description of his statements as gun grabbing are so far”

Nice try, but anyone that proposes banning “assault” weapons in multiple statements IS a gun-grabber. There was nothing general about his statements. They were pretty specific. By your logic, Bloomberg and McAuliff, who was even recently funded by Trump for his election are not gun grabbers either.

That is the problem with you Trumpsters, you can’t even admit the FACTS when links are provided and Trump’s own words are provide MULTIPLE times. Either Trump supporters are delusional, gullible and stupid, or just plain dishonest!

BTW, since the TCP average polls are showing Trump to be the only candidate losing to Hillary in the general election. Trump can’t afford for anyone to stay home. Since half of his support is from liberal democrats then I would not place any bets that Trump gets the nomination either.

Keep your head in the sand, but the FACTS do NOT lie.

“Since Trump has always been the DONOR, he “owed” nobody anything...THEY OWED him!”

NOT true again...anyone caught in a CORRUPTION scheme is OWNED by the other involved because corruption begets corruption. Trump gave the Clinton’s over $100k and you don’t think the Clintons will reveal that favors were expected for that money whether those favors were given or not?? Ever hear of blackmail??

Again, nice attempt to deflect that what Trump did was BRIBERY and CORRUPTION and is ILLEGAL in every State.

Either you’re intentionally being dishonest or you’re just not very intelligent.

I would also be concerned what favors Trump got in return. Maybe he got people to look the other way why he hired illegals for his resorts and golf courses. Trump already admitted to that too, which is also ILLEGAL.

Maybe he was part of the ILLEGAL Chinese deals that everyone knows the Clintons were a part of. Can you provide any PROOF that none of those deals or favors were illegal or bad for our country?? Didn’t think so and that is reason enough to ask questions and be concerned. Only a fool would follow blindly and not even take the time to investigate it.

Well dear heart let us see what he recommended in his policy paper released this year.

You cannot point to one specific policy he has backed or said yes too. Assault weapons is no meaningful and you and I and trump know it.

I don’t care who you vote for in the primary. I plan on voting for Cruz. If you sit out the general because it is trump then you are really a Bush republican and I say s pix on your house

“You cannot point to one specific policy he has backed ...”

Did you not read all of the direct quotes and positions from Trump in post #76. Those were mostly recent, within 2-3 years, and some as recent as 2015/2016.

“Assault weapons is no meaningful”

How do figure that Trump’s support of an “assault” weapons ban is not meaningful, especially after Trump funded McAuliff last year, a known gun-grabber, and funded several anti-gun groups within the past 2 years. That is pretty meaningful to me!

So you say Trump changed his position on at least 3-4 different liberal positions, that I provided you the PROOF for, and he changed his positions since running for office and you don’t have concerns about that? Can you guarantee that Trump won’t change his mind again and go back to supporting his traditional liberal positions? No you can’t and neither can anybody else make that promise.

We’ve been lied to by politicians for so long, many of which said one thing to get into office and then did a total different thing. Trump has a track record of flip-flopping on EVERY issue in recent years and nobody can PROVE Trump will be any different given his constantly changing stances on important policies. That is worrisome.

“then you are really a Bush republican”

That does NOT make me a Bush republican. It actually makes me think about the long game instead of the short victory. Some Republicans are all to willing to win at any cost even if it means going against their principles or electing somebody counter to those principles. I won’t do it.

In reality, if Hillary wins, she will be so left wing that it will finish destroying the democrat party and cause a uproar in the country. I doubt she’ll then win a second term. However, if Trump wins and rules from his traditional left leaning policies and betrays the his gullible followers, then that will destroy the republican party permanently and will prevent a true conservative from taking office for decades to come. It may even cause us to lose Congress. All it will take is for Trump to appoint Oprah or some leftist judge to SCOTUS. In both cases, their policies will reek havoc on the country. The difference between you and me is that you are putting your faith in Trump, a man that has a checkered liberal past, and I’m not. I prefer to take a person based on his actions, which does not go well for Trump, rather than trust what he says now. Obama is a good example of that. We knew based on Obama’s past how he would govern. Many people just chose to ignore the facts and instead have faith in his rhetoric. I’m not that gullible or naïve.

You don’t need to lecture me. In fact get off your soap but

Apparently you and others hate Trump so much you ignore the fact that I am voting Cruz in the primary in my state.

In the general if you think I will let Hillary and the commie dims into office again you are nuts. I will sit out only if bush Rubio or some other GOPe is the nominee. IF Trump I’d the nominee I will willingly vote for him for the above reason

Be careful in demanding purity. Our country is at risk

“You don’t need to lecture me”

Not lecturing; just providing you an explanation.

I did notice you were voting for Cruz and so am I.

Unfortunately, Trump has sided with Hillary more on policies, in his recent past, than either Rubio or Bush. I see Trump as a potential sheep in wolf’s clothing and even less worthy than Rubio or Bush and I feel the same as you about those two turncoats.

As you said, our country is at stake and we can’t afford Trump appointing liberal SCOTUS justices just like Hillary, but on the bigger picture, we can’t afford for Trump to permanently damage any chance to fix that damage in the future either.

“get off your soap”

I’m sorry that you feel discussing Trump’s history and potential concerns is off limits and amounts to a “soap box”. It should be our duty to vet Trump on these issues.

You should be paying attention to the article and it’s content

It's getting harder and harder these days to take these articles serious anymore with the blatantly wrong headlines and biased opinions rather than just report the news.

Many 'news' sources have taken sides (i.e. Glenn Beck) and I find it worthless to peruse information from fan boys.

Frankly, one of the best reasons to be on Free Republic is that most of the Freepers are smarter than the authors of these stories. Lolz
