Today, the mainstream media has been wildly obsessed over Cruz’s supposed denunciation of “New York values” highlighted in last night's Republican Debate.
The NY Daily News cover even went to the extreme of saying: “Drop Dead, Ted. You don’t like New York values? Go back to Canada.”

On his radio show, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin pointed out the absurdity of the media’s coverage of the debate exchange between Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz, calling it a “shiny object.”
Levin knows what most Americans also know. That Ted Cruz was not blasting everyday New Yorkers but the Leftist politicians that run the city. He knew exactly who Cruz was referring to.

Without God, taken at His full promises, not just the “conservative” angle, “conservativism” will go nowhere. It has no foundation, only the shifting sand of worldliness.
Because he’s more conservative than the GOP, who we all voted for in the past.

Cruz screwed up with the New York comment. With a little adjustment it would have worked but it is what it is now.
There’s no reason to believe that Trump won’t revert back to his old ways once in office. He’s a master at self promotion to get what he wants. In this case it the art of the deal to get conservatives to vote for him and its only requiring words, no deeds.
The most conservative guy to run in at least 16 years is being burnt at the stake by “conservatives”. I guess we deserve what we get...
What kind of “deeds” do you want out of Trump now. He is not in any position to implement a thing.
People have to push pretty hard to show Donald not keeping a financial promise — they point to the restructuring of the loans around the small minority of failed ventures he had, and that’s pretty much it.
Well it is too late for any deeds in terms of this election. My point was there are no achievements in his past pushing forward conservative principles for the betterment of others. Nothing to show he’s actually had a change of heart short of a writing a book. All words. No deeds. And his past isn’t just a little off the reservation. It is completely off the reservation. And yet we are supposed to be believe its true and that when things get tough he’ll stick to it.
I just don’t believe it. I’d be a fool to.
See the Trumpaholic trolls coming out. I never thought trump was a clown or buffoon as some of the other candidates said. He is a unrepentant adulterer and made money of gambling casino development. Trumps followers are a different matter maybe fear them.

From what I can see in this country, apparently no one is conservative, and there are in fact ZERO CONSERVATIVES IN GOVERNMENT, because I cannot even recall the last conservative thing that was ever done, if such a thing ever was done!
The ONLY THING that matters to me at this point is DO YOU LOVE AMERICA ENOUGH, AND DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH BALLS TO DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!?
And quite frankly, I see exactly one person who loves America enough, and says it out loud, and has balls made out of battleship hulls, and has the leadership qualities to get himself elected and get it done!

I get it now. The nasty Trump supporters on this forum are really GOPe backers of Rubio or Bush or Kasich. That’s the logical explanation for their lack of respect for others on the forum that turns people against Trump.
Well, I found out my great great grandfather came from France to NYC long long ago, and married a NY gal. So I am Part Yankee. UGH! I am a Texas gal, raised in the south to distrust and despise Carpet Baggin Yankees! This was hard to take, I am part New Yorker UGH!
I knew a gal who lived here who wouldn’t say where she was from, NY, she knew she would never be accepted socially here in Texas if anyone knew she was a New Yorker. So it had to remain a secret.
Was it the mayor or governor of NY who said to Bible reading, conservative Christians who are NOT Pro choice “You are not welcome in New York” We had just been planning a vacation there, at the time I had never seen NY. We were going to stay in a nice hotel, eat out, go to Broadway plays, etc. We would have been adding to their cash registers. But after it was known that good law abiding pro life Americans were not welcome in NY, we went to L A instead.

What “values” did Levin have in mind when he endorsed pro-amnesty RINO Orrin Hatch for re-election?
That was the runt governor of NY, Andrew Cuomo. But leftwing bigotry doesn’t count.
NYC wasn’t especially hostile to the South regarding the Late Unpleasantness. Boston and other points north were a different matter.
I’m a NY’er most of my 61 years. I’m embarrassed by DeBlasio. I’m shamed by the rampant corruption in the city and state. I also wear my big boy pants when i hear stuff like that. I know its not directed at me. I recognize that i’m one of millions and i can’t change a culture by myself.
I’m, also for Cruz and regardless of my statement above i wish he would have clarified that statement if not avoided it all together. If someone wants to be president then the last person they should look to emulate is Obama and his divisive means of ruling. I hope he or one of his people reads this and realizes his statement is as poorly chosen as Obama’s about bitter clingers.
