Gateway Pundit is zeroing in on New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's defense of his decision about who NOT be involved in the actual 9/11 memorial ceremony on Sunday. Religious leaders, rescue workers, police officer and other key first responders are not being included as program participants. "We just don't have room for them," Bloomberg says.

A New York State of Mind By Dianny
I have a little inside baseball for all my friends who are not from the Great State of New York.
New York State residents think New York City is a cesspool with Leftist/Socialist politicians who end up controlling Albany (our capital). We think of New York City as the wee little tail that wags the whole state.
In fact, we hate New York City so much, we wanted to be able to secede from Manhattan entirely and create the 51st State. In 2013, when a survey was going around to vote on this secession, I wrote a column called "Free New York" (which is now available in my first collection of columns RANT: Politics & Snark in the Age of Obama) in which I wrote:
