Wow, Mark Levin read Trump’s ridiculously over-the-top tweetstorm this morning aimed at Ted Cruz, and he did not appreciate the accusations made therein.

He posted this tweet with a link to a Facebook post:

Friendly advice, Donald, and I do mean friendly… https://t.co/7ayqHgg8H4

and many of the earliest presidentis -- would be elected, hold office for a few years, then go back to being a citizen ...

Those guys never even heard of things like "Clinton Global Initiative." Harry Truman bless his soul earned $25,000.00 a year as President, he went home, refused Secret service protection and lived and died in his own home. We have came a long way baby.

I've been listening to Rush since summer of 1990. He has never endorsed anyone in the GOP primaries.

I do believe he endorsed Pat Buchanan but that was a one and only. He refuses to endorse anyone today but he has in fact raved about the methods Trump is using and marveling that nothing he says seems to hurt him.

I get the distinct impression that he is a Cruz man but will accept Trump. I think it saddens him that none of the non-GOPe people have learned anything by watching Trump's success. I have listened to Rush since his first week.

I was proud of Trump for having raised the illegal alien issue, but so far that's the only thing he's shown that I'd respect.
Therefore, if he DOES get nominated or elected, I'll have the same thing to say to his rabid followers (in full glory on this thread) that I said to Obama's fellow travelers: If you get what you want you have to live with what you got.
It might be wise to do your gloating early.

You don’t like facts when it comes to radio audiences...that was the point...not twitter, Facebook & Instagram...Rush, Hannity, Levin & Beck have the top 4 political audiences in the country, but keep changing the topic if you don’t have anything important to say...

Dear Mr. Levin,

I highly respect you as a commentator on the American scene.   I've learned much by listening to your radio program.   You've taught me the meaning of words like the "civil society" and "corporatist".   I am deeply grateful for your instruction.

Now I've heard your plea to protect America through the Liberty Amendments.   And I am confident that this is a powerful legal means of curbing the power of the Federal government.

However, no matter how powerful this idea is, to gain traction it must embodied in a person — or a group of persons — in high public office (States, Federal, or both) who must sell this concept to the people.

Unfortunately, lacking that leadership, it's been slow to get your great idea adopted.

However, a very positive thing — and almost completely unanticipated thing — has happened in the last few months.   A well-known, highly successful, and moderate-to-conservative business man, Donald Trump, has arisen and taken the Politically Correct Media bull by the horns.

Interestingly, Trump — in many ways — is already the leader of the free world because of his personal strength, his bold and unique proposals (the Wall, Muslim moratorium), his relentless drive, and his ability to move the electorate in his direction.

So Trump just might be the personal force to create the climate for the Liberty Amendment legal authority you are looking for!

And if it doesn't happen, then we can kick Trump out of office in four years.

But I don't think Trump's pride will allow him to go against the promises he's made to the thousands of people attending his rallies.   So my bet is he's going to give the same 110% as he's already shown with his campaign energy, mass media blitz, and hard work.

So Mr. Levin, if the Republicans should choose him, let's enthusiastically get behind this man and support him as he gets the civil society back on track.   If we can tame political correctness, get our economy moving again, and stop the tyranny and financial madness, then the legal means of protecting our liberty will come much easier.

Let's give this man of action and success a shot at doing what he says he's going to do.

Freedom loving Republicans, Independents and working class Dems are behind him big time.  Let's give him a shot.

Thank you for listening.

...Just try posting anything negative about Cruz, Americans for Prosperity, Freedom works on his face book. YOu'll be gone.

I notice that Levin really supports his advertisers.   When millions are spent on supporting a conservative radio show, the donors expect some favorable coverage.   So it may be that Levin feels he needs to speak out because his advertiser is being attacked.

Hmm.   I wonder if the conservative commentators would agree to make public how much money they get from political donors and campaigns.

Actually the Free Republic would be in a good position to advocate for that transparency.

Does anybody else here think this might be a good idea?
