I assume these freepers who live in New York were the people he was talking about....that is the New York values Ted Cruz was talking about!!
But they weren't ignorant. He was clearly talking about the liberal politics and government of the city. I've seen you talk about how hard it is to be a conservative up there.
I have a friend, born and raised in NJ, who goes into the city all the time. She hates it and says she thought Cruz's comment was funny.

He not only believes it, he recognizes it as fact---we all do. New York is a liberal city. That simply isn't up for negotiaton. I've seen you discuss it yourself. He absolutely wasn't talking about all NYC people because he understands there are SOME conservatives there...he says so.

But come on...pretends to be a cowboy? You know that's not true, and the bacon/rifle thing was a joke. If you're referring to his boots, they're common attire in Texas. I have a couple of pairs of Justins myself...once you break them in they're the most super comfortable footwear in the world. And Cruz is a hunter and knows how to handle a gun...also not out of character for a Texan.

What happened is that the original poster tag-teamed you. He has a need to go into arguments with backup which I don’t approve of. You were simply being polite.
There is absolutely no evidence Trump will get those votes. I will tell you the last man to get them was Ronald Reagan....A true conservative!!!
