Great analogy, and I have never given either a pass.....and in fact often written just that about McCain. Besides, 9-11 was NOT an attack on NY. It was an attack on the entire country. It was the rest of the country that bailed NY's ass out of 9-11 - not the other way around.
but by about 9-15 or so they had gotten over it......
but by about 9-15 or so they had gotten over it......
none of my neighbors voted for delbsio.
and we’re all Italian :)
Staten Island has always been the “different” borough.
when Garner got killed, there were no riots on staten island because we wouldn’t sit in traffic waiting for people to get out of the street. we’d pummel them and move them ourselves.
Manhattan is a liberal bastion. Manhattan is not NYC. there re five boroughs. some more conservative or liberal than others,
but Manhattan takes the cake for liberalism out of the five.
we tried to secede but bronx politicians panicked because we pay their citizens’ welfare.
Actually, the vast majority of the conservatives in NY, and across the country, think he’s right about NY values.
I guess these precious little new yawkers need their “safe space” like the weenies at Yale.
shhhhh....we weren't supposed to know about that. Cruzers have a narrative, can't let those nasty facts get in the way!
F—k New York.
By your own logic then, that makes Cruz dependent on the Nanny State!
So, are you saying that Staten Island does not share the same “values” as NYC?
Clearly touched a nerve in you....and it appears you''re an angry biddy aren't you? Psalm singing bastard? So what are you, a dried up old atheist spinster? What possible spiritual and intellectual darkness rules your inner self that would ever come up with that response?
While what you say may be true, it is also true that there have been horror stories of folks in NYC stepping over the wounded/dying
shhhh.....Trump has taken much more from the nanny state banks than Cruz....and Trump has not repaid them.......then supported TARP to bail them and him out.
See post # 31. That should cheer you up some. :)
“While crime is everywhere, there is no question that part of NYCâs current crime wave is part of its New York Values being played out.”
There is crime being played out in every nook and cranny across the United States. Nothing to do with New York values.
You flunked logic didn't you? I hope you try and explain that comment so that I can fully and thoroughly embarrass you.
Staten Island IS NYC!!!
people confuse NYC with Manhattan. manhattan is just another borough.
I will SAY that Staten Island does not share the same values as Manhattan.
but the five boroughs did vote Giuliani in and though he is not conservative enough for many on this board, he did an INCREDIBLE job of cleaning up crime and transforming Times Square.
and he was the ONLY one who gave us reassurance and comfort on 9/11.
I will say NYC seems to need to be reminded of how bad ilberals are and they elect someone at least moderate afterwords.
like the sheriff that cleans up the town and then everyone wants him to leave. duh!! crime will come back.
Loved 31!.....but I’m cheery....it’s when I’m at my sarcastic best.
so just specifically what is a “psalm singing bastard?” I can’t wait to see the answer.
