I thought after the prisoners were released, Iran would go hunting for more Americans in order to swap them for more of their prisoners. Sadly, trading prisoners is just as enticing as paying ransom for them.
Maybe. But anyone who knows anything about Obama knows he doesn't give a crap about American citizens.
The Bergdahl deal was done because he wanted to empty Gitmo. The recent Iranian prisoner release was done because he wanted to showcase his nuclear figleaf. Yes, they've poured cement into one reactor, but my understanding is that there's a major military base where nuclear work occurs that can never be inspected. He released frozen money because he wanted the deal done so bad. And, he handed the guys in the boats to Iran for publicity purposes, because.. well I don't know, maybe he just likes being on the bottom when a mullah is involved.
But, you can bet your bottom dollar that if you're Mr. Ordinary American Citizen, and you get kidnapped, your Obama-run government won't do crap to get you released.

Ted Cruz was SPOT-ON in recognizing this as a danger. American presidents since Thomas Jefferson have known that nothing is gained by ransoming hostages from Muslims except to motivate more kidnappings. The idiots Obama and Kerry are exceptions to this wisdom.
