Economic Collapse
Sept. 25, 2014 through Sept. 13, 2015 was a Shemitah year. Jonathan Cahn caused quite a stir when he warned that there could be economic problems as the end of the year approached.
Many questioned his theology, but in late June and early July of 2015 China's stock markets lost about 35-40%. A few weeks later (mid-Aug. of 2015), China devalued its currency three days in a row. Less than five months later (early Jan. of 2016), China’s stock markets plunged again and trade was suspended two days in a row. It took Chinese intervention to settle the collapsing market down.
China is the second largest economy in the world so her economic problems had a negative impact on the global economy. For example, it caused the Dow Jones stock market in the U.S. to get off to its worst four-day start in history.
This is a troublesome sign because the UN has agreed to establish a world government by 2030 and globalists never want to let a crisis go to waste. Many think a global economic crisis could be used to restructure the world into ten groups of nations and create ten regional currencies as a prelude to a world government.
The Antichrist
On Jan. 8, 2016, an article in a Kuwaiti newspaper called Al-Jarida said Pres. Obama is pushing to replace Ban Ki-moon as UN Sec.-Gen. when Mr. Ki-moon's term ends on Dec. 31, 2016. According to the article, Mr. Obama has already discussed this move with Democrats, Republicans and Jewish officials in the U.S.
The article said Prime Minister Netanyahu remembers how Pres. Obama has acted toward Israel. He remembers that Pres. Obama brushed aside Israeli objections and forged ahead with his deal to let Iran get nuclear weapons so Mr. Netanyahu is trying to rally moderate Arab nations to sabotage Pres. Obama's move.
The coming world government will have only one leader and he will be destroyed at the Second Coming of Jesus. Many think Pres. Obama is the Antichrist and Pope Francis is the False Prophet. This writer thinks Pres. Obama is clearly a type of the antichrist, but not the real Antichrist.
Some contend that Pope Francis is the False Prophet based on his questionable theology and the Prophecy of Malachy (112th Pope). Others might contend that his age at 2030 (beginning of world government) and 2037 (end of world government) indicates that he can't be the False Prophet.
Still others might suggest that the Ten Horns (Ten Kings) must appear before the Little Horn (Dan. 7:24) and they haven't appeared so Pres. Obama becoming Sec. Gen. of the UN is meaningless. Only God knows what is going to happen, but Pres. Obama in charge of the UN would not be a pleasant thought to many.
Death of Multitudes
On Jan. 6, 2016, North Korea, probably one of the Kings of the East, bragged that her scientists carried out a test explosion of a hydrogen bomb. Peter Pry, a former CIA Analyst and expert on EMP weapons, said it was an Electromagnetic Pulse Explosion (EMP).
An explosion such as this over the right place in the U.S. could destroy America's power grid, cause unimaginable destruction and, if this writer remembers correctly, lead to the death of up to 90 percent of America's population during the next twelve months.
Deception
House Speaker Paul Ryan and Sen. Mitch McConnell supported and passed a bill that funded Planned Parenthood and Obamacare. They did this even though Planned Parenthood was caught selling body parts and Obamacare was based on lies. After funding these programs, Ryan and McConnell supported and passed a bill to defund these programs knowing that Pres. Obama said he would veto it.
Put another way: They funded Planned Parenthood and Obamacare. But they want the voters to think Pres. Obama is the reason why they can’t defund them. These men can no longer be trusted and this is one reason why Franklin Graham decided to abandon the Republican Party. Check their ratings at the link below. [1]

Distress of Nations, with Perplexity
On Jan. 6, 2016, Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, former head of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, told Megyn Kelly (The Kelly File), "The importance of this next national election is huge because whoever is the president of the United States is going to deal with an absolute mess on their hands and it is going to last for a long time, potentially their entire presidency."
Gun Control
Pres. Obama is now wants to use executive action to disarm the mentally ill. That might not be so bad if the government wasn’t the one to say who is mentally ill (those who oppose global warming, Islam and same-sex marriage; veterans, TEA Party members, Bible thumpers, etc.).
