What's interesting is that right here on Free Republic, in hard numbers, the MAJORITY, a clear majority, either prefer Cruz and/or outright reject Trump. A MINORITY has Trump for their first choice. It's about 47 percent for Trump, 53 percent who either prefer Cruz and/or think Trump stinks, among FReepers who expressed their opinions. Those FReepers who are equally for one as they are for the other, are not on either list.

I've been keeping a count for months. In the past two days I've read three or four posts from folks who were okay with Trump early on as either #1 or #2 choice, but who are having serious doubts about supporting him at all, now.

They track your IP address, so lots of luck trying to vote twice unless you can change you external IP address.

I’ve tried to vote more than once, but you can’t.

Just to let you know...try it.

You’re right. I stand corrected. I didn’t scroll back to the top and see the “Thank you, we have already counted your vote”.

Since you can vote multiple times, are the Clintons and their criminal foundation too cheap to pay people to vote and do so often?

Re: voting more than once.

The only other way to vote more than once is to go through a proxy server, which unless you already have one set up, is more trouble than it’s worth.

Since the Drudge poll apparently screens votes at least by IP address, it would seem to have a high reliability factor.

Have at it!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

You’re not biased or anything are you?

I go out of my way to compensate for my bias so that the list remains as accurate as possible. Would you like to know why?

Because I'm doing the count for ONE REASON: to discern reality from illusion.

Six years ago, on a controversial topic long since forgotten, I saw with my own eyes threads on topics where TWO THIRDS of actual voices held the view that at casual reading, looked to be the minority view. In realty, ONE THIRD of the actual voices so distorted the appearance of the thread, that most readers (myself at the time included) would be surprised to learn that not only were the loudest and most prolific posters a minority, they were only ONE THIRD!!! Yet they used harsher language, harder insults, and posted considerably more frequently, to create the illusion of size.

I learned then that the ONLY WAY to really know what "most FReepers" thought, was to do the hard work of keeping lists myself.

Fudging -- putting people on the "Cruz" list (which is now better described as an anti-Trump list because a small number of the names on there don't prefer Cruz but they also totally reject Trump) just because they criticize Trump -- is out the window, the wrong way. I ONLY put people on either list when it is clear and obvious where they stand. I often go to their posts in-forum and back-read until I find a post to confirm one way or another; if I cannot find one, then the name never makes either list.

Why do you ask? If you were keeping a list in order to be able to discern reality from illusion, would YOU let your bias make it inaccurate?

And in case you were wondering, your name has been on my Trump list for awhile.

:^)

This is the code of the true scientist - admit your bias but do all possible to control that bias.

Bravo to you.

Are you sure you aren’t letting your bias get in the way of perceiving sense?

You mean we will finally have a President, rather than an ignorant, lazy, stupid, petulant petty dictator who pretends to be President.
