Oh, wow. 1999, eh?
I had no idea. I’m definitely going to vote for the Senator from Goldman Sachs now. What’s his name? Ted Flanders? Yeah, that guy. He’s the ‘true conservative’.
What's the matter with YOU, that you have such hatred and contempt for people who have a couple of more bucks than you have?
Good work, there Chester. Don't spin your little hamster wheel too fast now.
You want to dredge up old stuff? We can always talk about Ted's parents rather louche, and worse, behaviors and his own lies. ;^)
I just don’t believe that trump actually holds all the views that were put in that tax plan produced by the campaign.
I did not say that the plan, as proposed was bad. It’s actually pretty good.
I simply, for reasons I have posted, don’t believe Trump thinks in those terms and would likely not do half of it.
I think trump is his own man and the campaign has had to shape his reported views to conform to a more conservative audience.
I bet some posters here have brokerage accounts or 401K plans through them as well. *snicker*
Really?
Prove it. Show us an authentic Trump tax plan.
I don’t believe that dredging up old stuff, as you call it, that is substantive to the vetting of a candidate is something to ignore or defend.
As to the other stuff, that is quite personal. But it’s already been shoved out there on this forum.
In business, unlike politics, one word is one's bond and if Trump wasn't true to his word, he wouldn't be trusted in the PRIVATE SECTOR. He is, so your hypothesis is moot; not to also say dead wrong.
So say you!
Hahaha
Correct. A lot of the mindless dolts around here don’t get it. It’s been discussed in several of his interviews which apparently a lot of the sheep around here are too lazy to watch or even read Trump’s proposed tax plan.
See? That’s perfectly reasonable. I can now understand your fears.
Why the heck didn’t you just say that before instead of trying to put out BS ‘evidence’ to the contrary of his stated tax plan?
They have also attempted to trash his father, his sister, and his children and wife/wives. Sadly, it's all been LIES. The new Cruz revelations appear to be very true.
So cut the crap.
That's a stretch. He does not need to do a song and dance sales job with shaped position statements and back handed twitter slams to do business. That is a different world. I know, because I am a retired contractor. And yes, to get and keep business you have to be fair and true to your word.
But that's business and money, and this is power. Unimaginable global power.
I personally think it's important to dredge up a little bit of old stuff...
Is that all akin to Cruz fully backing and voting FOR the TPA, until he decided that that no longer looked so good, so not only LIED about WHY he voted for it, but then got someone else to LIE about Ted's LIE ?
Shall we all dance around a bit with that, or move on to other lies Cruz has hoodwinked many with ?
Actually, 1999 is about as far back as I have gone. that’s really not much when you consider he is a political outsider and thus has no political record save for what he has written since he ran the last time.
You need that stuff to make a template.
You illustrate why the answer to the question is “yes”
A very large segment of the GOP rank and file are more angry this cycle than at any time in recent history. Trump is tapping into that with his populist appeals.
People want the “establishment” hurt. That includes CoC types, GOPe and Limosine Liberals. Sucking Soros or Buffet or Bezos or Oprah or Bill Gates dry with oppressive and confiscatory taxes is VERY appealing.
With that much emphasis on one vote for a fast track to another bill that has not passed yet, I think we are probably wasting our time....don't you?
Silly question. They worship him. They will mindlessly back anything and all donnie.
