Only what I learned in High School. I do know a little bit about Totalitarianism, having been born in a Communist country and right now it looks like I will die in a Communist country
Only Cruz (in this race) has repeatedly taken a stand in Congress when most everyone has turned on him. Regardless of the outcome of this primary I’ll hold him in high regard for facing down the wrath. God bless you Senator Cruz. This country still needs you.

I soo agree with you. THIS last 12 day period is the first bath that Cruz has EVER taken. I believe now, that he actually thought he could run through a campaign without taking one. At all.
Though we always expected it to come, I’m not convinced Cruz expected it to come, and the shock of this vetting bath brings a reaction showing how unprepared Cruz really is in “dealing” with it.
For the smartest guy in the room to initially be seen pushing his academic intelligence, but now seem to know so little is a jolt.
Suddenly, Ted is surprised by everything! And he blames others, or he forgot.
This eventually looks slick, if you refuse to take responsibility for any and all of it, yourself.
It was more of the bulk of replies that got my head shaking. You can post something about strawberry ice cream and a Trump vs Cruz/Cruz vs Trump pre-school fight will break out.

Cruz chose alienation because no one would follow him as a leader.
I guess sometimes you're just forced to choose where your loyalties are.
I like Trump. I like the things that he says he will do. I will support Trump if he wins the nomination, but I have no faith that he will address one of the most serious problems facing the nation:
The Courts. Specifically Liberal Judges who make up laws instead of applying them as written and as intended.
Trump's sister is a Liberal Judge. He calls her a "Great Judge". When it comes to Judges, I have little doubt he will simply accept whatever Judge his staff sends him to nominate, and I don't think he will be interested in fighting specifically for conservative Judges.
Regarding the Judges, I have no worries about what Cruz will do.

Now the issue of Eligibility is a serious one in my opinion, and You already know my opinion on that topic. But when I weigh most important against lesser importance, I have to accept something I don't like or the thing that I see as most important (The Courts) will be lost because the lesser thing I don't like will be given priority.
I think a simple way to put this is I don't believe we should let a "Nickle hold up a Dollar."
I do not blame anyone who feels differently though.
FR has been for all the Clinton years, and now the Obama years harping non stop that we need someone to stand with us. Well one finally did..and that someone was TED CRUZ.....

The way I figure it is They got one, and so we are owed one.
It is a foolish thing to allow the democrats to cheat, and then expect us to follow the rules afterwards. That is not how you win a war.

Senator Ted Cruz turned against the conservative cause a long time ago, when he made the cynical decision to be an opportunist who would assume the conservative leadership role in a bid to gain political power at the same time he contemptuously denied the Constitution’s exclusion of foreign born persons from eligibility as President.
If you cannot vote for Cruz in good conscience then don’t. But don’t try to dictate your conscience on everyone else.
Under the applicable laws (1952), Cruz is a natural born citizen of the US. The courts will support this if necessary.
Some of us will not side with liberal attacks on a conservative candidate on principle.
Exactly right, and that message needs to be said in every thread....We finally have gotten a Real Man who is exactly what we have been asking for, and look at what is happening? rejection on this very site.
