I don’t understand how data was transferred from the secure system to the insecure system.
Copy and paste the “secure” document, remove the classification, repaste the document to an email, then send it to anybody you want to.
What I can’t figure out is why she would want to do that. Anybody or foreign government could get the classified stuff from her unsecured computer and server.
This whole matter would get much more traction in the media had not the GOPe been so corrupt in the GWB administration with the outing of the CIA agent and the political firings of the federal prosecutors.

Not quite. There still had to be an extra step to transfer it from the SIPRNET to the non secure medium. Either the hard copy was scanned and sent via nonsecure means to her server, or the documents were rekeyed and emailed.
Either way, specific steps were taken to circumvent COMSEC... very clearly a criminal offense.

The folks who cut-and-paste...sending the messages without any markers on them...they need to be brought in...and be told that they are permanently banned from any job with a security clearance involved (basically every single job with the State Dept, DoD, or Homeland Security). Some assessment of their training and lack of competency is necessary and I’d fine them something.

The emails are damning enough, but the obvious influence peddling through foreign government donations to the phony Clinton Foundation in exchange for State Department approvals ought to bring an indictment. However, the DOJ is totally corrupt and politicized and Hillary remains the darling of the liberal media so nothing will come of these FBI investigations. It might be possible that FBI agents disgusted by the overwhelming evidence of corruption and deliberate cover up at the DOJ will leak the investigation results. The liberal media will ignore these leaks, but the evidence of Hillary’s corruption will still taint her campaign. We can only hope a new president and Attorney General will act on this evidence before the statute of limitations might apply to Hillary’s crimes.

Just my theory.
If you or I had done 1/100th of Clinton has - regarding releasing classified information into an unclassified environment - we would be in prison already. If you or I had done what she has done with TS/SCI stuff, I would reasonably expect to be stood up against a wall and shot.
Why is Hillary not getting ready for her trial instead of running for president? Why is she above the law and too big to jail?
