I remember reading years ago that the only people who would take care of Lenin was a group of nuns. Don't know whether they were forced to do it, however, his body was dying from the tips of his extremities and the smell was really awful.
Another thing, these same nuns reported that the same hour that he died, there was heard outside an unearthly sound of howling. No one could tell exactly where it was coming from and it was distinctly different from wolves.

When I look at photos of Lenin, I distinctly see Satan in his eyes.

Not that the resident FR anti-Putinistas will grasp the distinction or the significance, but Tsars hate Commies.

Dishabilitating Lenin. Odd move. He said he’s not going to take the body out of the tomb or anything.

And a real Commie wouldn’t have made Solzhenitsyn required reading in Russian schools, as Putin has.

And a real Commie wouldn't have made Solzhenitsyn required reading in Russian schools, as Putin has. If that's really true, it's very significant. And as a side note, Solzhenitsyn should be required reading in US schools as well.

Or stop nationalizing the press and key industries. Or stop rehabilitating Dzhughashvili.
We must hate. Hatred is the basis of communism. Children must be taught to hate their parents if they are not communists.
Lenin
It is impossible to defeat an enemy without having learned to hate him with all the power of ones soul.
Stalin
I see no difference between the two.

Why not? There are still “many paths to socialism”, as Khrushchev said to Tito.

That thing really is a white elephant. Eventually they need to get rid of the dang thing. It’s just so ingrained in ‘custom’ now that it they won’t.

You also have to remember that Putin praised Lenin in the past for creating the Modern Russian state.

Why not? There are still âmany paths to socialismâ, as Khrushchev said to Tito. I guess Brezhnev never got the memo, as evidenced by Czechoslovakia 1968.

Well, he did eventually get to rewrite the USSR’s constitution nine years later. Not that it was any better than the one it replaced.
