Dear Mr. Wolf,

I need no excuses.

I have seem the entire Congress NOT do anything, with or without the names you mentioned, being onboard.

I have seen my country go from one that was still thriving, with a free enterprise system, unbridled, in comparison to the Obama administration fetters and hamstringing of it.

I have seen my country, where once you could say a disparaging word, without having to look over your shoulder for the speech police.

I have seen my country cheer and praise military members, veterans, and fallen soldiers, seamen, airmen, and Marines. Now, they, and I, are spat upon as lowlife sumbitches, unworthy of the medical care they, and I, were told we were to receive, as recompense for our service and sacrifice.

I have seen my country, once holding high the idea that it is proper, right, and American, to make as much money as you could, and do it better than the other guy. Now, if someone makes a lot of money, the ideology is to steal, remove, limit, and deny anyone of doing such, and if you do, you must be a criminal.

And, what’s worse, in all of these things, i have watched Congress give the nod to a Communist sitting President, who has, by fiat decree, placed these actions in some form of unholy writ, unchallenged.

whoever he nominates would be 100% better than Hillary’s nominees

Roberts was appointed by Bush. Roberts was the deciding vote for Obamacare. Is Roberts 100% better than either of Obama’s appointees?

Kennedy was appointed by Reagan. Kennedy was the deciding vote for homosexual marriage. Is Kennedy 100% better than either of Obama’s appointees?

A moderate is no better than a liberal when the Court hangs in the balance.

With all due respect, I understand your argument, however, you do know that Cruz worked on Bush campaign and worked in Bush Administration—Was he involved in Roberts selection? I don’t know I am asking.

I want a proven conservative, who we have in Ted Cruz (97-100% conservative/pro-libery voting record in the senate, depending on whose counting). I can’t believe so many so-called conservatives are treating him so shamefully bad, many behave like he is an outright traitor to the cause, when in reality he has heroicly stood in the breach, often fighting all alone, doing everything in his power to thwart wave upon wave of attacks from our enemies, and waiting for the base to send him reinforcements that never came. So many on this forum have broken faith with Ted Cruz...how sad! He is one of the finest warriors ever sent into the U.S. Senate.

That’s fine by me, but Cruz is missing the boat. For some reason he’s not connecting with the people.

He’s neck and neck with Trump in Iowa, and will most likely win there. He is all over the headlines and he is also the top second choice of the supporters of the candidates who will soon be dropping out of the race. And he has far less negatives than Donald Trump. If he is not connecting, how could this be so?

Cruz became Texas Solicitor General (the state’s attorney in U.S. Supreme Court cases) in 2003. Roberts was first appointed to the Court two years later in 2005.

I don’t think that there is any question that Cruz is a Constitutional strict constructionist that will at least try to only appointment conservative strict constructionists to the Court. Unfortunately, Republican presidents have historically done no better than 50% at picking conservative Justices. Democrats always manage to pick far left-wing Justices.

I have no idea who Trump would appoint to the Court. That is what keeps me up at night.

It’s important not to forget that only a few weeks ago, Trump singularly upset the whole election apple cart!

Trump set the national agenda by opposing illegal immigration and bringing up other issues that the GOPe and their allies desperately wanted to avoid, and now they can’t.

The GOPe was not prepared for this, and as a consequence they don’t have a clue about what to do, hence their almost universal collapse into a pile of quivering jello, flip-flopping like a bag of Mexican jumping beans dumped on a hot griddle.

Trump has exposed those who pretend to be conservative but are really just fronts for big money establishment campaign donors who purchase their candidates with campaign “donations”.

Trump, by actually being a real man, has exposed the other candidates (Cruz excepting of course) and their allies for the weak little sniveling sellouts that they really are.

Trump’s vociferous truth-telling and fearless neutering of the kommie media have been the catalyst that triggered a massive revolt amongst conservative voters who are infuriated at the GOPe Congress doing absolutely ZERO to stop Obama’s agenda, and suddenly the GOP RINO leadership is in full blown panic mode and in full blown retreat, and the SMALL conservative House contingent smelt blood in the water, took heart, and charged in against a weakened, frightened and paralyzed GOPe leadership, and Boehner was taken out as a sacrificial lamb.

Trump is absolutely correct when he says that without Trump in the race, everything would be same-ol’, same-ol. The Joyful Tippy-Toes Turtle would be creeping closer to the finish line, Boehner would still be safely ensconced as Speaker, and there would be no mention of illegal immigration are any of the issues surrounding it by any politician in either party, other than possibly how critical it would be to pass immigration “reform”.

The media are loath to make the connection, but it’s obvious that the Boehner resignation was yet another falling domino, toppling due to the Trump Effect, because Trump’s unabashed truth-telling and fearless neutering of the kommie media triggered a revolt amongst the great unwashed GOP masses which emboldened a few conservative Congress critters to grow a few pairs.

And our nation wouldn’t even be having ANY of these conversations about illegal immigration and the myriad of other Obammunist issues destroying our country if it wasn’t for Trump. Instead, we’d simply be debating which RINO, GOPe squish would be least likely to be stomped by Hillary, and the GOPe would once again be exhorting the “base” about how critical it is for us to once again vote for the “lesser of two evils”, that is, vote for the GOPe side of the Uniparty coin.

And do note that ALL of the oligarchs and plutocrats are frightened to death of Donald Trump because the billionaires and millionaires can’t buy him like all of the other politicians they routinely purchase, because Trump doesn’t need nor want their money, and the kommie media is frightened to death of him because he isn’t afraid of them either, the bottom line being that Donald Trump can not be controlled by the rich and powerful or the corrupt media, so for anyone who is truly for campaign finance reform and wants to take money out of politics, voting for Trump is the only reasonable choice.

President Trump is really the last hope for this country: if he can’t undo any of the damage wrought by the Obammunists, the U.S.A. is done.

So least we forget, the above, and much more, are called “The Trump Effect”.

It’s sad to see so many on FR spitting in the face of our very finest. It’s unseemly. Whatever. Ted Cruz will take Iowa, and will be wiping the floor with Trump in short order. The Donald is x number of meltdowns before the final meltdown. Who knows, it may have already happened.

He isn’t ‘’turning off so many would-be voters’’. He’s turning off the Cruzbots. Jesus Christ, Himself, could be running for president on the GOP ticket and would face just as much venom and vitriol as they are piling on Trump.

When they say Cruz or lose, what they are actually saying is ‘you either elect OUR candidate or we will throw the election to the democrats.
It’s blackmail.

You say he’s only turning off the “Cruz or lose” vote, well, what about the 55% or so of Republican voters that right now have chosen some other candidate. Do you think he might be doing himself some damage with any of them?

I wasn’t trying to respond with a Cruz-specific numbrer. I was referring to the fact that Trump has a total of around 45% Republican support (that number might be generous). That leaves a total of 55% or so that currently do not support him.

But thank you for jumping to conclusions and leveling the accusation. It is in keeping with the spirit of the times.
