Oregon protest leader Ammon Bundy, others arrested; 1 killed

CNN)One person was killed as authorities arrested a group of people -- including Ammon Bundy -- involved with the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, the FBI and Oregon State Police said.

The deceased individual, who has not been identified, was the subject of a federal probable cause arrest, officials said.

It appears that the State of Oregon moved in on them, with Federal backup once the Feds realized what was happening. All of these militia members face attempted murder and firearms charges in Oregon, as well as Federal firearms charges.

A couple of days ago their were reports of a buildup of men and equipment by the FBI. Then this morning I read that the buildup had been reversed and the police forces had actually been reduced.

"shots were fired" -the standard weasel words used when they don't want to say "federal agents killed one individual".

Shots were fired is the term used to describe a "mass shooting" by police at Waco where "half" of the dead were shot by police.

One of the men shot by police was swinging a "high capacity" metal chain. They did NOT shoot a man who was observed shooting a man (who'd been repeatedly kicked in the head and was laying on the ground) at point blank range.
