Prayer is important at Florida's Cambridge Christian School.

"We train our students that prayer is foundational to their walk with Christ," Head of School Tim Euler told me. "Our faith is founded in prayer."

So when Cambridge Christian faced off against University Christian School last December in the 2A state championship football game, they asked the Florida High School Athletic Association if they could begin with a word of prayer.

The FHSAA said no.

Their right and obligation comes from God, not some administrative panel - why would they even ask?

That whole “separation of God and school kids” created by the commie libs down at the aCLU is a crock. It’s also unconstitutional for the schools to tell the kids that they aren’t allowed to pray. Unfortunately, Americans allowed the communists to hijack OUR Constitution and Bill of Rights and they are now using them as weapons AGAINST us.

It is a shame that the Florida High School Athletic Association is so stupid.

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)

IMHO, they should have, unscehdeuled, had the person singing the national angthem announce in the mike a silent moment of prayer before they sang.

And then proceeded with the game.

These idiot politicians and the judges they appoint are inconsequential when it comes to the faith in Christ of the people.

John Adams himself said it best:

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other." John Adams

Why did they ask permission to exercise a right?

That was a big mistake.

Sorry but I smell a big rat in here somewhere. Why in the world would TWO Christian schools ASK if they could pray?

Do they not know the answer? Have they never heard of the 1st amendment? These are schools aren't they? Shouldn't they be teaching this stuff rather than asking about it?

Don’t ask permission to pray. Just do it and dare them to punish you for it.

“A nation that does not remember what it was yesterday, does not know what it is today, nor what it is trying to do.....America was born a Christian nation.america was born to exemplify that devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture.” Today’s Progressives do not want us to remember what Woodrow Wilson said in that Denver Rally in 1911— They certainly do not want us to remember that the “political house ‘erected in 1787 was built upon our national reliance upon the Holy Bible and Christian Religion.
My point is We the people Need to reeducate the unjust Judges and restore the Law to it’s foundation and not suffer/allow human law be made contrary to the law dictated by God ,Himself. There is NO Constitutional law to prohibit students from praying And the Contract is broken when the Courts change the meaning of the terms used in our national Bill of Rights.

Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Praying is not making law, so is NO violation of A1.
Prohibiting the exercise of religion IS a violation of A1.
Amazing how so much backward thinking occurs in America nowadays.

While the 1st amendment gives them authority to pray, there is a higher authority than that:

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)
