That’s my understanding as well, although I have not found much about George H.W. Bush.

Bill Clinton didn’t brag, he just lied.

I don’t see much of anyone applauding it.

Do you understand the notion of hyperbole?

God generally will cast someone aside for willful sins until they repent. Trump says that he never asks God for forgiveness.

General Petreus didn’t write a book boasting about all the married women that he had slept with. Trump did. Trump is Scum!

That we know of. They haven’t all been vetted yet. Trump’s life is an open book. Most everyone knows his past, and God help us if anything any of us have done marks us with a scarlet letter for a lifetime.

If Trump came out and said he made it up just to sell more books, I’d probably believe him. And then I’d wonder, as I often do, just what else he might be making up to get more popular.

Oh, how foolish. General Petreus didn’t have to write a book - the liberal media wrote if for him.

Talk about changing the subject!

That’s true but unless pigs fly, Obama’s not running.

Anyway, womanizing is a resume enhancer for democrats.

Not so much for Republicans.

Clinton’s behavior being publically accepted on the national stage seemed to lead to a lot more of that behavior being imitated. If that happens with Trump and adultery, the cost of that on society has to be acknowledged in any evaluation of the candidates.

So you are trotting out the ‘other people have done it’ defense.

I was unaware that Trump openly admitted to affairs with married women. This is a very serious offense. This is a fundamentally dishonest behavior which deeply betrays a fundamental trust in society. Trump claims to be a Christian but says he has never asked for forgiveness. God can forgive adultery, but it is something that must be repented of. A sign of that repentance is humility and meekness, rather than bragging about sin. This is also coming from someone calling Cruz “nasty”. Well adultery is extremely nasty. Biblically, according the religion Trump identifies with, adultery is a sin worthy of death. This is very disappointing information about a man who I would like to be able to support as president.

Her name is Jennifer Fitzgerald.

I don’t post this out of malice; simply to show that a man can be a leader and still be perfectly imperfect.

Patreus had an affair with a married woman, which was a terrible thing and helped to end his career. Trump claims to have had many affairs with married women and has boasted about it twice in books that he has written. This shows that not only does Trump have no conscience, he also has no shame. I can think of nothing worse than putting a shameless, liberal, corrupt, self righteous, lying, narcissistic, unfaithful, and extremely volatile man like Donald Trump in the White House. If we put Trump in the White House than we deserve the disaster that we will reap.

So you think we’re wilting violets if we object to flagrant adultery?

Well, get me a couch also.

No one is perfect. I most distrust those who claim to be morally superior.

There was a thread on this yesterday. I read 200 posts. It was quite eye opening.

Not one Trump supporter found any fault with Trump’s behavior...not in 200 posts.

It was all:

Other people have done it,
He’s a real man,
They were willing
Nobody’s perfect.

Not a single Trump supporter found anything wrong with his behavior. Weird.
