This follows other stories I have seen. Have seen stories from Vets who have contacted them and many are rejected. Not laying any specific castigation here, just that the body of reports seem to be growing.

That sounds astoundingly high.

Most charities distribute 7-10% of gross intake.

With the dedication that Donald Trump has shown to helping Vets, I will venture to say the Wounded Warriors will find ways to be more efficient and get more money to the veterans, now that Donald Trump is involved with them.

They must pay a lot for all the tv ads and that doesn’t help. Who should we give too?

Exactly, no controversy here. I remember reading the International Red Cross only passed through %10 of donations. 60% sounds huge.

I believe that the Salvation Army has the highest pass through on donations.

Other than that just buy quality canned goods and donate it to your local church food bank.

The guy that heads the Afghanistan Iraq vets organization that said they would refuse Trump money makes $135,000 a year. Stripes says they are leftists.

The 2500 dollar bar tabs don’t help vets either.I suggest finding some local vets who are hurting and give them some money. That way 100 percent of your money goes where it’s needed.

According to "Charity Navigator Rating" it appears to be middle of the road, as far as charities go.

I only give to charities that contribute more than 90% to their intended targets.

This is one website that helps you evaluate the effectiveness (generosity) of a charity:

Why not let people who evaluate charities across the board do this job instead of the Daily Caller?

People can make up their own minds about which charities to support, and for what reasons.
