You obviously did not watch the event or you’d know how ridiculous that statement is

Santorum and Huckabee made a point to distance themselves as candidates from Trump. Santorum even stood to the side a little bit so as to not be directly behind the Trump sign on the podium.
That was a bit funny, actually.

I cannot recommend watching even the first 5 minutes of the debate after watching Trump. It was sickening.
Now back to the Trump rally.....
I think both Huck and Santorum
will be very high on Trumps hiring list after the elections.
I like Huckabee.
To: Engraved-on-His-hands
So, I saw a tweet from Trump saying two candidates had contacted him, asking to attend his event.
Santorum says he was asked to attend.
Who is telling the truth?

I never thought it before, but Trump is a fricken media genius. Good God, he had Sanatorium and Huckabee practically endorsing him on national TV. And Sanatorium and Huckabee had no clue they were doing it.

Someone pointed out that both Huckabee and Santorum are past contributors of Fox News and also are making their own statements about Fox by standing with Trump.

NO kidding.
It was so cool to have Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum there and for them to speak.
Over six million raised - in one day - amazing. Puts Ted’s 1 million debate challenge it’s place.
Trump is levels above everyone else in this race.

Trump is amazing to watch. He’s so far above what we are used to many people don’t get it.

I’m glad CSPAN did a really good job, they even panned the cameras to the protesters.
I’m keeping this recording, its worth it.
Big loser tonight, Fox.
To: dynoman
It was historic in terms of politics and optics.

Agreed.
Channel surfing after the Trump Rally I found the usual suspects attackin Trump for using the Veterans as props. My opnion is that there real fear is that a lot of people see Real Heroes, and how there are treated, and some are “broken”. It puts a spotlight on the issue, and the people.
Huck, and Rick showed class also. All Good men, in the company of Americas Greatest. Our Soilders.
Go Trump

He can whip this up in 24 hours, but supposedly he’s got no ground game in Iowa.

I’ll bet they were amazed to see a Trump rally from the inside. Put together in 24 hours, big screens set up for the thousands outside. I think they were in awe.
I think Trump was a little late - he said he’d been talking to Fox and they had invited him to the debate at the last minute.
Sheer brilliance.

I tried watching the rest of the debate afterwards, but just couldn’t do it. It was like hearing a Hillary screechfest vs. Reagan’s speech on the Challenger disaster 30 years ago this night. Two historic events vs a nothingburger of a debate.
