"Is that a “better question”? Seems kinda dumb to me. American mother Cuban father Born in Canada. Renounced Canadian citizenship when he decided to run for POTUS. Claims American Citizenship, rightly. Has he renounced his Cuban citizenship?

In all fairness to Cruz, Kelly should lead off her show tonight with a correction to her assertions during the debate that put Cruz in a bad light.

Retractions during the AFTER debate session is almost useless—as most folks have tuned out and probably did not watch it.

Let’s see just how professional Kelly really is.

Cruz’s “poison pill” amendment made the Dems throw it out.

And if that is not true,

then Sessions and King, etc are lying, and Rush and Levin are dupes.

of course it was a poison pill, one he was cheered for right here, not so long ago.

Any legislation that allows the lawbreakers to stay and work here, the object of their crime, is amnesty. Citizenship is just the cherry on top.

We have at any one time four million intending legal permanent immigrants waiting their turn overseas to enter this country. The have completed all the paperwork, background checks, etc. Depending on their immigration category, many wait years to come. Is it fair to those who followed the law to allow the lawbreakers to stay and work here? When you reward something, you get more of it.

We know what happened when the 1986 amnesty was announced. We had a surge of illegal aliens even though you had to be here for five years to be eligible to apply for amnesty. The amnesty process was rife with fraud with illegal document mills being located near the processing centers. The USG estimated that one million would apply, but the true number turned out to be 2.7 million. We now have 12 to 20 million waiting for the next amnesty.

People with "green cards" have the same benefits and rights as citizens with the exception of voting. They can get welfare payments, Medicare, Medicaid, SS, food stamps, etc. And legal immigrants use the welfare system to a much greater extent than the native born.

Why would you accept giving work permits to illegal aliens allowing them to compete legally against American workers? We have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. We have a surplus of labor.

No a word about his claim to deport 11,000,000 illegals. Maybe I cannot read but can you show me the direct quote?

And up until at least June of this year, Trump was calling for the legalization of the “good” illegals, and even now his plan is to let the biggest percentage of them back in on an “expedited” basis (if he ever actually deported them, which I doubt). One big difference is that Cruz has always held the position that anyone who entered the country illegally could not become a citizen now or in the future. There was and is no such restriction on Trump’s position.

The irony is that both Cruz and Rubio waste valuable time discussing whether or not they do or do not support amnesty.

Neither one of those guys is even qualified to be the President..Rubio is even less qualified than Raphael..

I’m amused when I hear them repeat over and over, “When I’m elected President”...

I did not say I did, you need to c o m p r e h e n d.

I was just pointing out the difference most people don’t.

If you are versed in Cruz’s immigration policy there will be NO chance, ever, for them to come back.

I guess you would not be satisfied with a sworn statement by Senator Sessions and the others that were involved in the fight against the gang of 8?

Cruz's "poison pill" amendment made the Dems throw it out.

The Gang of 8 bill passed the Senate 68-32 with 14 Reps voting for it. The Senate bill was never taken up in the House. The defeat of Cantor in the Rep primary sent shock waves thru the House. Claiiming that Cruz helped defeat the bill is just hyperbole.

There was another amendment (#5) that Cruz offered to the Gang of 8 bill that was not voted for by Sessions. It was not a poison pill, but rather, a payoff to Cruz's corporate paymasters. Watch the video and see how enthusiastic Cruz is including citing a bogus study put out by the open borders types about the benefits of foreign workers and increased legal immigration.

Yes. I'll wait for your report, since I won't be wasting my time.

My one political claim to fame is that I had Lightweight Journalist Megyn Kelly pegged before Donald Trump did.

TK, I have not watched Megyna since the August debate debacle.

Just trying to fair to Cruz.

BTW, before the year is out Kelly will be on ABC/NBC/CBS—she is headed for greener pastures.

If you are versed in Cruz’s immigration policy there will be NO chance, ever, for them to come back.

It doesn't say that in his policy paper. By the way, both the Trump and Cruz position papers were written in large part by staffers in Senator Sessions' office.

Cruz Immigration Plan Summary

Increase deportations and end catch-and-release. Our laws are not being enforced. I will restore our commitment to enforcement, public safety, and the Rule of Law by rededicating DHS to fully enforcing the law, including through deportations and returns.

From what I've heard, you are exactly right on them arguing with each other on Amnesty.

They have a communications deficiency. They're debating the number of angels on the head of a pin.

Trump's brand on illegal immigration? We're going to build a wall. Setting aside political differences, and whether you believe it... everybody in America knows the phrase. He's communicated the bulk of his position in one sentence.

2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.

Enforcing our laws means deportation. There is nothing in Cruz's immigration paper that says all illegals must be deported. He is saying the same thing about enforcing the laws.

Cruz: Increase deportations and end catch-and-release. Our laws are not being enforced. I will restore our commitment to enforcement, public safety, and the Rule of Law by rededicating DHS to fully enforcing the law, including through deportations and returns.

Not a dimes worth of difference. Both say enforce the law and end catch and release.

From what I've heard (because I didn't watch) Cruz walked right into her buzzsaw.

Nothing could convince the fake-moon-landing-loon variety of Cruz supporter that she'd be out for him.

I haven't seen much of them so far this morning. I wonder how they like Lightweight Journalist Megyn Kelly now.

Megyn moving on to the alphabet networks? I don't know. I think she's toxic, as she and Fox let her become part of the story. I think Trump has destroyed her professional advancement, and I also think Fox will keep her.

I have seen him on tv saying many, man times he will deport 11,000,000 illegals. Do you deny that? If you don’t then he is lying. Simple.

I’m a Cruz supporter, and I think MK did fine last night. In fact she went hard after Rubio, Fox’s obvious pre-ordained winner, and highlighted his duplicity on the illegal alien issue.

I have seen Trump saying many, many times that all the illegals must go home, i.e., be deported. He has taken lots of heat for that statement.

I noticed that Cruz did not say he would deport all the illegals last night. Cruz has changed his position on what to do with the illegal alien population. At one time he was for legalization. He is coming around to Trump's position.

So you do agree that Trump said he would deport illegals but now he does not want to do that?
