No other campaign has released cash-on-hand figure, which are due to FEC this weekend.

Ted Cruz's campaign said it would announce it had $19 million in the bank as of the end of 2015, a sizable figure that could lead the Republican field, communications director Rick Tyler tweeted.

No other campaign has released its cash-on-hand figure, which are due to the Federal Election Commission this weekend. But few campaigns are projected to have raised close to $20 million, never mind have that much in reserves.

Last night, Donald Trump said he had expected to have spent $48 million by this time in the campaign. It appears he has spent less than $8 Million, so he has, so to speak, $40 million cash on hand. :-)

The pro-Cruz SuperPACs are doing well, too.

Unlike Bush and Rubio, Ted didn’t waste a lot of money early.

He has a lot more than that. He unloaded his entire stock portfolio in January of 2015 for around $500 Million in anticipation of running for President.

He said he had budgeted about $35 to $40 Million for the six months before the Iowa Caucus. Which he has not spent.

So he has a lot cash on hand and he has been very judicious about spending it. He has literally run a major Presidential campaign on a shoe string.

The people who hate him can't stop giving him free publicity. Damnedest thing I've ever seen.

It is even better than that, because the FEC rules make him pay for his own jet, and to rent space in his own building! You ave to love this guy!

I get three or four emails every day from Ted Cruz begging for money. We need to raise thousands before the deadline one day from now (lie). My delete button is worn out from the constant money recruiting from his political organization. I could post the same about Rubio.

Cruz 12/31 projected small donations amounting to $45 million. Last week he said donatations are now over $50 million. Not bad for average donation of under $70.00. If you didn’t see Luntz group ragging on The One it is posted at hotair. Unanimous or near thought The One had dissed them. One said it was smart on his part because it wouldn’t have helped him any. One said Trump won Iowa by not showing up. The group when asked if true seemed all or close to all said NO. 5-6 thought The One would win Iowa.

Jeb has spent more than anybody, yet nobody cares. This election isn’t going to be decided by who buys the most billboards.

19 million on hand...he can not win it. It will take at least 50 mil to just get through the primaries.
Trump has the cash, and money talks and bull shit walks in politics. And I see a lot of bull being spread around on these threads lately.

Nobody will answer the question, will those who now support Cruz support Trump if he gets the nomination? Vice versa?

I see the pouting starting to begin and as a result, we may very well see another rabid socialist as POTUS. And be sure that, that rabid socialist Will finish what the last has started.

Some will, some won't. Both directions, for various and different reasons.

I will answer your question.

No, I will not vote for Trump in the general. I will stay home or write in Cruz’ name.

Nominate a Liberal, you lose.

Wasn’t McCain and Romney a lesson in this fact?
