Trump vows to pay legal fees of supporters who 'knock the crap' out of tomato-throwers.

Donald Trump got word from his security detail in Cedar Rapids on Monday that there could be someone in the audience with tomatoes -- so Trump reportedly decided to go ahead and take precautions.

"If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them," Trump urged his supporters. Were anyone to feel concern about being prosecuted for assault in such a scenario, Trump reassured that, "I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees."

And anyhow once one calms down and thinks, one can obviously see that this would entail criminal consequences for the one who literally did it. He’s joking. The problem would be a kook who did not know he was joking. The results would be embarrassing to say the least.

In no possible way would our Founders have found Ted Cruz to be a natural born citizen. Cruz **knows** this, yet is running for president anyway.

Unless there’s such a thing as an “American Tomato Sniper”, these projectiles could hit and injure anyone in the crowd. Therefore, any of them would be justified in stopping the behavior to protect everyone, not just Trump.

Throwing objects at people is considered assault, and a person who steps up to defend an innocent person from an assault would be held blameless in many, many jurisdictions.

Okay, just for grins, cite me one instance where Trump didn’t mean what he said when he was saying it?

The only one I can think of that even comes close was his bit about shooting someone on 5th Avenue and not losing votes, and given the support he’s getting for this latest comment, I’m not so sure he didn’t mean that too.

When he says someone is nasty and a terrible person, he often follows that up with a lawsuit. Doesn’t sound like hyperbole at all when you look at it that way, does it?

Granted, he backtracks a lot, but that doesn’t mean he’s not sincere when he says something.

Besides, he sounded absolutely sincere in the clip. Not a hint of a smile to indicate he was pulling someone’s leg. Watch it yourself.

I'll tell you who the faint-of-heart are. They're the ones willing to flush the Constitution and take matters into their own hands. Have a little faith and let's do this right. We've had enough Obamamanics. We don't need to elect one of our own.
