Seriously, How Can Ted Cruz Supporters Defend This?…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Febtruary 2, 2016 | Sundance

Earlier today Ted Cruz sent out a blitz of fundraising emails on the heels of his Iowa victory. Here's an example (screen grabbed), and pay attention to the two bullet points Cruz puts at the bottom of email:

“What does this even mean:
“And in the end, though, what the senator is trying to do, as well, is save and expand our legal immigration system.”

It means that Cruz wants to make sure that our present immigration laws, that allow a million plus future democrat voters into the nation per year, are extended into the future.

Exactly, reading the list of Cruz's campaign staff is like reading a list of RINO (liberal left in disguise) campaign staff.

And Trump's staff are filled with New York Values liberals and other questionable characters. His national spokeswoman said MLK was a "moderate" and Malcolm X is her hero.

“prior to the Civil War firmly landed on the jus soli side of things - you were a NBC if you were born on US soil, either a state or a territory.”

Prior to the Civil War? Does this mean that all people, whatever their race were citizens, because of their birthplace? I believe the 14th Amendment was passed specifically to give citizenship to freed African Americans, who were born on US soil.

The framers of the 14th Amendment specifically stated during debate, and during its passage by the states, that this amendment would not give citizenship to children born in the US of foreign citizens.

All children born of an American parent overseas were considered citizens from birth (Natural Born), if they met the requirements of citizenship under US Law in effect at the time of their birth.

That being said, US Law was not met by Obama’s citizen mother at the time of his birth (she was not old enough under the law, and had not lived in the US the required number of years following her 15th birthday,to establish citizenship at birth), and hence he would have to go through a naturalization process to gain citizenship. Also remember that at the time of Obama’s birth the age of majority throughout the US was 21.

My understanding is that Ted Cruz's mother was old enough and met the requirements of US Law at the time of his birth. Hence citizenship was established at birth.

The problem is that despite the intent of the 14th Amendment's framers, and the legislative discussion at the time of its passage into law by the states, judges have interpreted the law to give citizenship to anyone born on US soil. So we have “anchor babies”.

With “anchor babies” who has decided that the parents, who are citizens of other countries, have the right to stay. NO ONE Has. That's the reason for the fight.

You don’t know the difference between a naturally born citizen and a citizen, you are too dumb to vote.

“I think that these people have been indoctrinated into a cult.”

Yes, but I hope when The Donald gets out of the race the Trumpeteers will regain control of their minds and emotions.

How many of the 11 million current illegals is Trump letting back in expedited fashion to become Democrat voters?

Did Trump say he’s ending legal immigration?

Your research looks totally bogus. The legal limit for contributions to candidates is way lower than what you state, like $5,000 per person. So those Club for Growth donations and such cannot be accurate. They would have to be going to a SuperPAC, not Cruz.

The chart is right out of opensecrets... Facts can be your friend. https://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/contrib.php?cid=N00033085

You don’t know that since before the U.S. was founded, British law said natural-born subjects included those born to British citizens in other countries. 2 Dumb 2 Vote.

I haven’t figured out why a lifelong liberal from New York like trump gets any support here.

Which ones of Trump's proposed policies do you object to???

Yes he did "no citizenship for illegals" words spoken by Trump, and you know it, as it has been shown to you before.

A lot Cruz's supporters are sleazy liars just like Cruz is.

If they can unseat Trump from the race, the knives will come out and be plunged repeatedly into Cruz's back so they can usher in Jeb or Rubio as they planned from the beginning.

You are correct, Sir.

It certainly doesn’t appear the DC Cartel is out to defeat Ted Cruz.

The very same DC cartel this is supporting Cruz is supporting Rubio...They've got a winner regardless of which way it goes...Whichever one of them goes first, the other will pick up all the votes...Lotsa people sure got duped...

Even if he’s never president—Trump has changed forever the Race—He took out Bush, he will take out Cruz and expose him for what he is. Good for the republic!

British law? Are you a moron? Don’t answer the verdict is already in!

Your full of bs like like cuban idol.

True. I can’t believe that Americans want change and they actually think Rubio or Cruz can do it. I believe only Trump can. So frustrating.
