Could Sanders become Vice President, should Hillary win the nomination and avoid an indictment?

Re: Sanders as VP. There is a generational issue with Sanders. He is 74 and Hillary is 68. A Silent Generation man is no contrast with a early Baby Boomer. The GOP may well run. Generation X and Hispanic candidate in Cruz or Rubio. New England and New York, except maybe New Hampshire, is a Democrat lock unless Trump gets the nomination. Sanders adds nothing in a general election. I think the Democrat VP nominee will be a younger man, likely Catholic, possibly Hispanic.
