Having seen what has been happening these last few days, this thread has gone into flaming mode.
Well I am trying to be fair to everyone here, that is all.
I think it’s hilarious that Bernie Sanders is “shocked” that Hillary Clinton rigged the Iowa primary. I’m shocked Bernie didn’t think of doing that himself. Maybe he tried but wasn’t as good at it as Crimelord Hillary Clinton. Or maybe Bernie is the “Leon Trotsky” to Crimelord Hillary Clinton’s “Stalin”.

Lol, that's funny. Early during the 2007-2008 primary campaigns, I often referred to Obama as Elmer Gantry because he preached so much lofty, Utopian fantasy, liberal BS. And I have thought a few times the past week or so that Ted Cruz is sounding more and more like Elmer Gantry.
It could be my reflection that this thread has gone into flame mode and most of the posts are either anti-Cruz or anti-Trump.
I wish someone would post that into the thread. I haven’t bothered to learn that yet, but I think I should.
Don’t forget Cruz did not support the Zadroga Bill or Sandy relief.
I don’t look at candidates and worry about their ethnic background. This identity stuff is destroying our country. You’re as free as anyone else to hang out on threads - just don’t expect everyone to agree with you - especially when you bring up meaningless topics like racial identity. That goes down better over at Democratic Underground.

He knows about it perfectly well, he just doesn't care. Illegal immigration provides cheap labor for the constituency Rush represents, which is why amnesty and open borders have become a pillar of the GOP establishment and the RNC. Limbaugh represents a fake opposition to the establishment.
As to the costs: poverty, crime, lost jobs, cultural degradation etc, what are they to him? He and his friends are doing just fine in their gated communities, they never have to see the downside first-hand. Sometimes I think that the elites of both parties would much prefer to have a US that's more like Mexico or Central America, so that they don't have to deal with much of a pesky disgruntled middle class.
