I never thought about that but it is true. Cruz supported John Roberts who kept ACA. I like it. How many times have a vote been used against someone. This is a very good tactic for Trump.

Trump is going to win. I love this.

“So the man who thinks his pro-abort sister would make a good Supreme Court justice is attacking Cruz for supporting Roberts once GWB selected him???”

You are a liar. His sister is 81 years old.....If you think he is picking her for Supreme Court you are dumber then I though.

“I remember all the warning from the Donald at the time telling us how bad this judge would be. I remember Donald fighting against Obammacare every step of the way. Brian Williams told me all about it. “

So that was your reply? Why didnt Trump (private citizen who wasn’t Roberts “close friend”) warn us?

And then the usual “fighting against Obammacare” i.e. the usual kabuki theater that the rest of the GOP engaged in smokescreen?

Cruz voted TWICE against funding Veterans healths issues. Ted Cruz voted against providing $27 million for the Veterans Health Administration.....

I’m sure he would have, but for you to think that makes your argument any less stupid I’m laughing at you. Bye.

How did Cruz vote on Roberts? He wasn’t in the Senate at that time.

Roberts was confirmed in 2005.
Cruz didn't win his senate seat until 2012 - 7 years later.

Cruz wasn't even there.

NO ONE ever heard of Cruz until SEVEN YEARS AFTER Roberts was appointed to the Supreme Court.

Roberts was appointed to the Supreme Court in 2005. Cruz was elected to the Senate (his first elected office) in 2012.”

Meaning what? That Cruz was innocent? CRUZ RECRUITED ROBERTS, his FRIEND as Solicitor for Bush!

TED CRUZ is the reason we are stuck with Obamacare.

The Right Stuff
John Roberts should be a quick confirm.
By Ted Cruz — July 20, 2005 [snip]

And during his job for Bush, he pushed more visas, more immigration...all that BS.

Why didn’t Trump warn us John Roberts was going to overturn Obamacare before he was confirmed for the court?

none DARE stop the King......and that's the real problem...

The family can't do anything about this, at one point in time they would have been able to put him in an asylum. Now they risk being cut out of his fortunes, demoted to serfdom.

Can you show me? And on what grounds?

Who did you want? I would have preferred Janice Rogers Brown.

Also, during one of the first debates, Cruz and Bush had a back and forth where Cruz blamed W. for picking Roberts. Jeb reminded Cruz that Cruz had supported Roberts. Cruz then responds that he was wanting Luttig picked. Which one is it Cruz?

Assume for the sake of argument Roberts voted as he did out of personal concerns rather than sound legal reasoning. Perhaps, for example, some sort of blackmail. How would Cruz or anybody be able to predict the deviation that might result from deliberate tampering? If you read the Cruz recommendation, it does sound like Roberts should have been a reliable conservative vote. Some things are hard to predict. That’s just real life.

Peace,

SR

What are John Roberts’ worst rulings besides the Obamacare rulings?
