“A woman in Michigan, who owned her home outright, having paid $164,000 for it, missed paying a tax bill for $2,000. The local county seized her home and sold it for roughly $80,000, pocketing $78,000 after the tax bill was settled.”

That is one of the biggest abuses of government power that I've read in awhile. Thanks for sharing.

These abuses need to be stopped - not celebrated by conservatives. We certainly don't need to vote for candidates who have participated in corrupt public/private partnerships to condemn homes to build strip clubs. Err, I mean parking lots for limousine liberals.

That is not up to Trump it is up to Congress. You just keep repeating the same BS but the truth is that Trump is better on immigration than any of the other candidates. He has not proven himself to suck on the issue as most candidates have and he was the first to answer Sen. Sessions “test” questions. If you read the story about it, he nailed those answers. I trust non politicians Trump to keep his word more than I do any of the professional insider politicians who are running. Trump perhaps disappointing me is not as certain as Cruz, Rubio and the other professional politicians who already have done so multiple times and almost certainly will in the future.

I was afraid something like that would happen in NH when I saw the socialist democrat receiving 59 percent of the D vote and the democrat socialist receiving 39 percent of the vote. I have to admit, socialism and New York City values are strong in that state.

I was a little surprised that a big government champion could only get 34 percent of the NH R vote. I thought it would have been bigger. I can't help but wonder if the nearly 70 percent that voted against Trump wasn't a backlash against his vulgar personality, or perhaps his attack on Vera Coking.

It's hard to argue against a person's deeply held emotions. I just hope you know what you are doing.

My choice is fairly well thought out. The other politician candidates have all done typical weasel politician stuff that I strongly disagree with. Rubio is a tea party guy who went to DC and sold out all his supporters by almost immediately joining forces with the rats to pass amnesty. Cruz always talks about stopping Obama but then he voted for cloture on TPA and voted for the Corker bill that gave us the disastrous Iran nuke deal. Those two votes allowed Obama to circumvent the Constitution and get what he wanted. Cruz helped give Obama more power than he had even though he ran promising to stop everything Obama. Cruz also wanted to increase H1B visas by 500% for years until Trump’s success on the immigration kpissue forced Cruz to change his position. I just do not trust Cruz to do the right thing anymore. The fact that I do not think there is any doubt Cruz that is not NBC and not qualified for POTUS makes not supporting Cruz easier. Bush, Christie and Kasich are all big time establishment uniparty guys I cannot vote for. I like Dr. Carson but he is not suited for the job in my opinion. That leaves Trump as the only person who I think I can support for President this time around. There is not a whole of emotion involved in my decision. I there is much emotion in the GOPe ranks. I sense anger, fear and dread coming from over that way because they understand that all their well paying gigs will be in danger when a new face takes over.

The process of elimination is one way of making a selection when there are no positives things you can think of about any of the options.

Again, I hope you know what you are doing.

I do not see a lot of positive things in the members of our professional political class, do you? On the positive side of things, I do think the GOP establishment needs a wrecking ball taken to it and I believe Trump may just be the guy to wreck it. I am pretty optimistic things will work out as they should in the end.

“I do not see a lot of positive things in the members of our professional political class . . .”

I agree with you here.

“I do think the GOP establishment needs a wrecking ball taken to it . . “

I agree with you here.

“I believe Trump may just be the guy to wreck it . . .”

I can see why you say that. I thought that way at one time myself not long ago. On reflection, I'm convinced Trump wants to tear down some of the structure just to replace with structure loyal to himself. That is normal; business as usual; certainly not out-of-the-ordinary.

“I am pretty optimistic things will work out as they should in the end.”

If you are speaking about the end of the Book, then yes I am beyond optimistic. I'm certain. If you are speaking about the survival of our Republic - not so much.

Trump's boast that he will do much worse than water-boarding tells me he has no clue what our founding fathers intended in the 8th amendment. (Just to cite one example in the last 72 hours.)

I think perhaps today and tomorrow I will address some of the New Jersey “property tax takings” abuses, being as how that’s where the phony “concern troll” thingee about the widder Vera Coking is centered.

Towns make millions from tax misery
October 16, 2015
http://www.dailyrecord.com/story/news/local/new-jersey/2015/10/16/towns-make-millions-tax-misery/74041470/

The predator state of New Jersey sells an average of 400 tax liens a day.

Apparently, they'll grab the "owner's" property for an unpaid property tax bill, water bill or sewer bill.

The bill could be 50 bucks. It doesn't matter - the TRUE OWNER wants its money.

For SHAME, New Jersey!
