Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders have cruised to victories Subtle. But I see what they did there.

Kasich coming in at #2? Gives you a sense of what kind of state we’re talking about.

Kasich coming in 2nd kills any momentum for Cruz and Rubio. Perfect situation.
Go Trump!

I mentioned last week that Iowa was just that, Iowa.
No one wins Iowa and the nomination (As a percentage of winners versus eventual nominees.) is automatic or even a majority guaranteed.
Iowa’s caucus system is so antiquated, easy to manipulate, stonewall opposition and brow beat attendees into submission or agreement. That’s how Obama won in in 2008.
That’s how Clinton won it in 2016, she of the 6 for 6 magical coin flips.
The tsunami for Trump begins tonight. It’s pretty much game over. No other candidate has the ground game and resources to make a race of it in enough states through the SEC primary to matter.
No home grown candidate in any state on the primary schedule is ahead of Trump.

I predict that Ted Cruz will not win another primary...he’s Santorum all over again. Trump is the one to watch.

The race is just getting started.
