34d place Rubio was the winner in Iowa, and now 3rd place Cruz is the winner in NH. There’s a pattern emerging, 3rd place is now 1st place, 2nd place is still 2nd place, and 1st place is actually last place. Got it.

Throughout the entire state of New Hampshire, Cruz won only 1 precinct--Millsfield.

Great, you might as well just stamp a great big “L” on the poor kids head. It has the same meaning.

I think this is exaggerating Cruz’s performance. As the guy who won Iowa, you would expect him to have SOME momentum in NH, but he was deprived of second place and only barely outpolled Jeb. I like Cruz but I think this article is a little bit too optimistic for him. South Carolina is an open primary where independents and even Dems can vote, and I think that helps Trump. We’ll see how the debate goes but at this point, I think South Carolina is Trump country.

“Yep, Cruz took 3rd without even trying.”
He was the guy coming into NH from being 1st in Iowa, so it isnt like he just entered the race.

“He only spent about five hundred thousand, and spent the least number of days than almost every other candidate.”

Trump spent less than Cruz in Iowa....now how many Cruz people were screaming “Trump was the real winner” again?

“And let’s not forget where we are headed: THE BIBLE BELT.”

So? I thought we didn’t do identity politics, but apparently anyone that goes to church = automatic vote for Cruz.

Maybe if Cruz appears on-stage with a black guy, that will get blacks to vote for him in mass numbers, because....sameness?

This speaks tons.

Who do you want to be President and be held accountable for your money that is spent in this country?

I will pick the conservative candidate like Ted Cruz who spends 1/20th of the amount of money as others and who still comes out on top

Now Bush has to get his ma and pa to make ads for him to run in SC to save a buck.

Christi is dropping out because he does not have the funds to continue

Rubio will borrow the money because he does not mind being in the hole. He does not know how to be fiscally conservative.

So Senator Cruz whipped the underlings more ways than people realize. I am very proud to put my support behind him

By now, Cruz people have got to stop leaning on these “debates” as if they are some magic pill to make up for other shortcomings.

How many of these things have we had?

You do realize that Trump is polling WAY ahead in most of the Bible belt states, right? Trump barely tried in Iowa and tied Cruz in delegates.

So far, Trump has spent $113 per vote in Iowa and New Hampshire. Cruz has spent $134 per vote. The others are much, much higher.

Now tell me again how Cruz is going to dominate the Bible Belt? I want it on record.

With 11% of votes, Cruz is really dreaming that he can win.

Even Goldwater had 26% votes in NH and he lost.

and when Cruz gets his ass handed to him in SC where does he go next?,, I have lived here for 40 years and Cruz isn’t even close.. and that was before Trump’s landslide victory in NH

Third place, great finish.

Hard for a conservative to win in a socialist State.

On to SC

GO CRUZ GO

Appreciate you taking care of the straw poll here on FR.

To me it seems to be a lot of work but you probably have a system to get it done. Really do appreciate the effort and your time.

“Ted Cruz who spends 1/20th of the amount of money as others and who still comes out on top “

He came in third in NH.

Trump spent less money and time in Iowa and almost came in 1st.

“So Senator Cruz whipped the underlings more ways than people realize”

Whipped? What exactly did he do again? Did he go after anyone but Trump? Chis Christie did more against Rubio in 10 minutes than Cruz did the entire time from Iowa until yesterday..

I guess yet another chapter from the “Legend of Ted Cruz” industry of myth-making.

I think I'll save the posturing and braggadocio for the convention, after the delegates are counted.
