I don’t understand the point you are trying to make.

Ted’s followers here on FR are in the same vain. Intellectually dishonest.

Really? Every single Cruz supporter on FR is intellectually dishonest?

There would be a huge reduction in contentious postings if the Trump supporters would just say outloud he's not a Conservative and they support him as such.

That's freewill. That's personal choice that we can all respect.

Then the playing field would be set.

Ah, the flapping sound of the Trumpster sock-puppet...

All you and your ilk have managed to do is turn off everyone who had a passing admiration for Trump and his early campaign, and an admiration for Ted Cruz and the job he has been doing since he stepped into politics. Your attacks are juvenile, baseless, predicated on ignorance and reeking of lefty tactics. The constant heaving of these ridiculous lies has pretty much napalmed the bridges for me and many others.

I have met your Trump. Had dinner with him. Found him to be a perfect ass. That was many years ago. He hasn’t improved. Perhaps even regressed. I have also met and interacted with Ted Cruz. I found him to be personable, whip-smart and dedicated. He also has integrity, something which you and your mindless ilk hope to tear down with baseless insinuation. That integrity, coupled with moral courage to do the right thing is why he would make an excellent President.

The Trump has situational ethics, and no moral compass. He bounces from position to position, shouting bromides and populist tripe, all the while knowing that he hasn’t got the slightest clue how to achieve any of it. A lot of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Don’t bother replying. I don’t care.

You ignored this part of my reply, it’s the context the “government will pay” part;

“And he wants the 25% the rest of us are paying for now to still be covered even if the government pays for it. The government (the rest of us) pays for most of them now through welfare.

Now do you advocate that 25% pay for their own HC? If yes, how do you propose to make them pay for it?? Do you have any workable solutions??”

Did you watch the video of Trump on 60 minutes that was immediately below the Cruz interview that Coulter’s FB post linked? Have you read the numerous Trump quotes showing his advocacy for single-payer and other “government pays” health care alternatives to Obamacare?

These are two simple “yes/no” questions.

If the answer is “yes” to either, then you will have personally heard or read the words of Donald Trump that support Cruz’s statement, and that refutes your original thesis.

If you answer “I don’t care” or something similar, you - again - aren’t discussing this in good faith.

I was listening to that yesterday and I was appalled! It made me think far less of Cruz because I knew what Trump said. I’ve always liked and stood up for Cruz but now I know he is a liar. Very disappointed.

Well, he's proposing propping it up with these “fixes” and you know that the actuarial assumptions never put any changes to these as a flat line so yes, in effect it will expand because the cost still remains with the Feds without working to fix Part D or the overall plan in total.

But, you are being rational here and I'm not used to that with a Trump supporter so I see your point of view and respect it.

I'll repeat to the best of my ability what someone else wrote recently. Building a wall and keeping out illegal immigrants - that's not conservative? Gun rights - he's very open about gun rights - That's not Conservative? Big on military and vets, wants to bomb the crap out of ISIS? That's not conservative? I could go on... Are you being intellectually dishonest? Is that conservative? :)

So your assertion is Donald Trump never said he was unequivocably pro-”choice?” That he never called for single-payer health care? That he didn’t say he’d welcome those illegal aliens he deports back in to the country through “a great big, beautiful, wide-open door?” That he didn’t give money to Bill DiBlasio, Mitch McConnell and Hillary Clinton? That he didn’t call Obama’s trillion-dollar “stimulus” give-away brilliant?

Trump did all those things. Cruz says he did all those things. And idiots like Ann Coulter (who loves Richard Nixon and Mitt Romney) calls Cruz a liar just because Trump now says he wouldn’t do all those things?

Let’s talk the things Cruz won’t mention.

Let’s talk about Trump making his billions by being the guy who pioneered strip clubs in Atlantic City by bribing everyone he needed to. That’s right: he made his billions on gambling, prostitution and political corruption.

Is that the sort of thing you Calvinists go for these days?

We’re not a theocracy. I get that. I’m a Catholic, but I’m supporting Cruz over Christie. I don’t agree with Cruz on theological matters, but I see him as an ally in the struggle against the marginalization of Christianity.

But do you really think God’s going to renew his grace to America through gambling, prostitution and political corruption? Do you really trust a guy who who made his billions on gambling, prostitution and political corruption to be most passionate about how to clean up Washington?

“Here he is giving his support to the traitor-in-chief on his worldwide apology tour..”

You are plain lying here. Obama had just taken office. Everyone except Rush said that about Obama.

Trump, just a few years later, after Obama had a record, was singing a very different tune, one of the few who did, especially among Congressional Republicans.

“Did you watch the video of Trump on 60 minutes that was immediately below the Cruz interview that Coulter’s FB post linked?”

Not that one but I know what you are talking about.

“Have you read the numerous Trump quotes showing his advocacy for single-payer and other “government pays” health care alternatives to Obamacare?”

Yes. Specifically Trump says “government pays” about the 25% who don’t pay for HC insurance now. Anyone who pays taxes or HC pays for that 25% now. Right? So what’s the problem with “government pays” with those it’s paying for now anyway?

Now questions for you; do you advocate that 25% pay for their own HC? If yes, how do you propose to make them pay for it?? Do you have any workable solutions??

You Trump supporters masquerading as Conservatives trying to explain to other Conservatives why Trump is conservative, lol. You betray your own cause because you yourselves don’t know conservatism. Positions reversed within the last 12 months do not a conservative make. Eminent Domain is not the position of conservative. Defaulting on personal or corporate debt is not a conservative principle or behavior (especially when one has the personal wealth and assets to repay the loan), Pro-choice is not conservative. Using Democrat talking points to attack other conservatives is not conservative. You either know this and are pretending not to, or you are a Democrat posing as a conservative, I’m not sure which. Trump is a swindler and he is turning otherwise honest people into liars of necessity in their pledge to support him.

“But, you are being rational here and I’m not used to that with a Trump supporter so I see your point of view and respect it.”

Thank you.

I actually like Trump’s point about having a heart towards those “dying in the streets”.

This is the battle as I see it; illogical morons with their lips permanently fastened to government tits outnumber those of us who are paying for it all. That is a fact. Trump represents the only hope for getting enough crossover and independent votes to overcome those tit sucking parasites. Cruz simply will not pull in enough votes to do it. Trump is the only chance we have.

I will vote for whoever is the republican nominee but none but Trump stand a chance at winning this fall. The popularity of Sanders, and by default socialism, coupled with the fact the number of parasites outnumber those who make up the host proves that beyond any doubt in my mind.

Have you seen this?

“He is more committed to the Constitution than either George Washington or Alexander Hamilton.”

That is laughable. If he were, he would not run. Or, he would not have voted for TPA which usurps Congressional authority over immigration (and which Cruz initially denied) nor the Corker bill, which made a mockery of the treaty protection clause in the Constitution.

Re: Here he is giving his support to the traitor-in-chief on his worldwide apology tour..."

You are plain lying here. Obama had just taken office. Everyone except Rush said that about Obama.

You shouldn't call someone a liar unless you know what the hell you're talking about, which you clearly don't.

First of all, Trump DID in fact give his support for Obama's apology tour. It's right there in plain English...

He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe."

Second, where the heck do you get the "everyone except Rush said that about Obama" BS from? You're saying that everyone but Rush agreed with Obama going around the world apologizing for America?
