How is he going to bring back manufacturing when the EPA ran it off? It wasn't just the taxes. It wasn't just labor costs. The EPA has done more damage to more industry with moving target standards than any other Federal Agency.

But when Trump made his Ethanol deal in Iowa, he said he'd use the EPA to the fullest extent of the law to enforce the ethanol mandate.

That means the single most severe stumbling block to restoring American industry will remain, fat and healthy.

The morons at NR don’t even know that your corporate headquarters do not determine what tax rate a corporation pays. US controlled foreign subsidiaries like Ford Mexico still pay US taxes. They move to have their products built for $2 per hour instead of $20 per hour.

I was certainly baffled by this screed. I had actually allowed myself to imaging that The Donald had, in fact railed AGAINST the Federal government policies that taxed both the internal profits and the international profits of corporations based here in the US, and that was why multinationals increasingly relocate headquarters to other less oppressive business climates.

Yet this article seems to be saying the exact opposite. Somebody is dissembling and prevaricating, how do we sort this out?

There may be any number of rational reasons to be either for or against the candidacy of The Donald, but let us not conflate blatant falsehoods with objective fact. That tactic serves no one, least of all the person making the argument.
