So pleased that I ended my subscription to NR several years ago.
Some of their stuff was great, but the core was rotten.

Good to see Trump bringing attention to another important issue. None of the others were talking about it.

The Trumpeteers will go back to DU where they belong.. So we can return to rationale substance in debate.
Ever thought you might be the problem too, for it is people like you on here who are masking this site look like DU with comments like that

A bit humorous that a journalist is going to lecture a Billionaire about economics. Kinda like a Marxist professor teaching capitalism.

Well, they won’t attach them in one fell swoop. The tip off is integration. Then you have maybe 10 years before they regulate the IRA/401k distributions. The, nationalize the balances.

I've been living large for the past 20 years and I work because I choose to work, still lots to do in this life, the current priority is smacking down the scourge of Trump-hating low lifes infesting this website.
"How about you?"

Those RINO douche bags are reaping what they have sowed. If William F. Buckley were alive, he would have already emulated Trump and informed all of those clods "YOU'RE FIRED!"
Believe it.

Because NR writers, who have spent their entire lives in government think tanks or as journalists....know so much about business.

The, nationalize the balancesI am quite a bit less optimistic. I expect a sudden confiscation, with full integration to a nationalized SS system. Then watch the socialist dole it out incrementally based on external investment.income.
Honestly, even in a best case scenario, I do not expect to see $1 in social security when I become full eligible in 7 years. SS will be indexed...mark my words.

And btw...there are even GOP candidates discussing indexing as a means of saving SS.

Well, SS is a long way away from the “trust fund” that was conceived. I see some logic in a person who is making several hundred thousand per year having to defer SS until he actually retires. But, it is wrong.

I belong right here, thank you very much. You don’t get to decide. Deal with it.

...canât tell if he silenced himself or if it was edited... Neither can I but imho that doesn't make that much difference. In the link the NR gave they left out (which I showed above) that part was taken out altogether, showing how the Trump folks do understand that they went over the top.
"...if these businessman even think about leaving then they'll see a 50% tax hike and if they say it out loud I'm taking all their savings and for escapees I'm grabbing their families!!!!"
Hey, nothing wrong w/ a little over the top huh?

“some success in business”
Some? 9, that’s NINE best-selling books, parlaying millions into billions and providing tens of thousands of jobs over decades, so successful he is made a celebrity for decades....
That’s your idea of “some” success? Get real.
