1st or a close second in Iowa,3rd in NH and a strong second in SC is exactly where Cruz could best hope to be for the Mar 1 primaries.
Cruz has a tough path to the nomination but so far, so good.

I’m fine with Cruz or Trump but here’s what I’m seeing.
I think Trump wins SC easily enough. Cruz doesn’t look so hot because a NY’er is beating him in the South, supposed to be Cruz’s best part of the country other than Texas.
If Rubio’s surge is real that’s even more trouble for both the other men, but...
Trump’s numbers in Nevada are much stronger than SC. Trump should head into March 1 with a lot of mo. He’s leading in most of those states too, though not always by a lot.
Meanwhile Cruz and Rubio are holding votes hostage, with slight assistance from the also-rans. Neither man can really move up much without getting rid of the other.
They’ve always known if they lost bad in South Carolina to Trump that it’s over
What’s the surprise to that?
Or is it despite Rupert and Ailes meddling trying to dictate media talking points with their offbeat polls that they are seeing something they don’t like

Up front, I am a Trump supporter. With that out of the way, I think this story is disinformation from Erik Erikson or whatever his name his. He is an anti-trump and was past operator of Red State which is pro-Cruz.
I heard in the last couple of days that Trump does not spend money on polls. Probably a wise move since everyone else is doing polls, just use theirs and discern from there.
Anyway, I think the story is disinformation, although at this point of the game on the eve of the voting I do not see what the point would be...maybe Cruz has been spending money on polls and they don’t look as good as he would want.
I suppose we will all know everything tomorrow night at this time. Cruz fans, Trump fans...see you on the other side my FRiends.
You are right I REALLY liked Cruz, however the more I see of him there is just something about him I don’t like!!! I can’t put my finger on it but my gut tells me something about this guy is just icky!!!!
