Trump is making a very serious point, albeit in his usual colorful ways. There is no agreed upon definition of Natural Born Citizen. Rubio and Cruz have totally different birth circumstances from each other, and Obama’s is different than those. So let’s get it settled once and for all, before we find ourselves with something crazy like the US and some other country having the same President.

Both Trump’s parents were citizens of the United State when he was born.
Interestingly, 4 out of 5 of Trump's (known) children are not NBC according to your definition.

I guess the good thing is that all but eliminates the possibility of a Trump dynasty.

But it does raise the question of Trump's fidelity and loyalty to the United States when he marries non-citizens and produces non NBC children.

Now win South Carolina big time so everyone knows you don’t need to get then disqualified on eligibilty grounds to win.

And then sue both Cruz and Rubio on eligibility getting the courts to finally rule and define “natural born citizen”. Then as President put a requirement in to check eligibility before getting on any ballot for federal office.

I have honestly never understood why anyone thinks Rubio is eligible. Neither, as in NEITHER, of his parents were citizens at the time of his birth. He is an American citizen, of course, due to the current interpretation of birthright citizenship. This makes him, what we call in impolitic company, an anchor baby. That his parents were here with permission is of no moment here...the requirement is CITIZENSHIP, natural or naturalized, but citizenship it is. And “of the soil,” which he does have.

Not one bit different from the 9,398,798 or so anchor babies that we already have in this place.

In case you don’t think this is a big deal, just wait until one of them is in the White Hut and decides to use the monument act to put California off limits, and then hands it back to Mexico. lol

No! Marco Rubio is not the child of TWO American citizens, even though he was born in this country. Neither is Ted Cruz, who has the added burden of being born in a foreign country to a father who was a citizen of a third foreign country.

He was also granted political asylum in 1961 upon his graduation from UT.

In other words, Ted Cruz's birth meets everything required in this 1790 act. His mother, Eleanor Wilson, was a citizen by birth in the United States, fulfilling the requirement of a child being born to at least one citizen, and his father had lived in the United States for years and been granted political asylum here prior to his move to Canada."..

Amen! It is a perversion of the 14th amendment to give citizenship to the offspring of TWO ILLEGAL ALIENS just because Mama dropped it on our soil.

Let’s make this simple, so even the masses can understand it:

The 14th amendment was passed shortly after the Civil War and emancipation solely for the purpose to give citizenship to slaves born on our soil. It didn’t even give citizenship to NATIVE AMERICANS and aliens are not given that right in this amendment! Slavery was abolished 150 plus years ago.
There are no children being born to slaves. There are NO slaves (Well, except you and me!)
The 14th needs REPEALED because it no longer relevant!

Okay! And that is ‘Trump Simple’ Logic!

The wonderful Terry Anderson referred to these illegal offspring citizens of the current bastardization of the 14th amendment as “Jackpot Babies”. He was right!

In case your really meant the 14th Amendment, it does not change or modify the term “natural-born citizen”. Note: it only says “citizen”.

Amendment XIV
Section 1.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Section 2.

Representatives shall be apportioned among the several states according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each state, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the executive and judicial officers of a state, or the members of the legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such state, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such state.
Section 3.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Section 4.

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any state shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.
Section 5.

The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
